This is a great spot. Comfortable bar, great patio and awesome staff. I have tried most of the menu all of which was good. Now to the WINGS... definitely above average, always larger wings. I order buffalo hot and tbey have a cajun flare to them with a dark buffalo sauce that has a great spicy kick to it.There is one reason for the star deduction... the beer here is just never ice cold. Draught or bottles. Not warm but definitely not cold enough.

I have lived in this area for 3 years and I FINALLY made it to this tavern! Don't make the same mistake I did! They have a good sized beer selection and fun cocktails. Their bar fare is good quality and very large portion sizes. The service is fantastic too!

One of the best bars to hangout with friends. I loved this place - Good food and not so pricey beers. It has outdoor seating and you can play games, even the service is great. We ordered fries and wings, both were good. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Just stumbles upon this place. Expected run of the mill tavern food but nope. Fresh, delicious, nicely prepared all around. Nice vibe too:)

This spot is great everytime! Seating is indoors or outdoor with a local Roxborough vibe. This place is a "hidden gem" within the neighborhood with low key vibes and returning customers. I have had lots of different dishes and drinks here. Most recently the thai peanut wings are my favorite.

Heard good things, but was really disappointed. Service was fine. Not great. Took a really long time to get my food, which was also fine. I don't think they know what Thai Peanut sauce is, because what they put on their wings isn't it. Don't think I'll be coming back. Too many similar places in the area that have better food, service and prices.

I ordered buffalo shrimp. They were pounded so flat and over cooked to the point where I couldn't even bite through them. They didnt even look like shrimp !! The french fries were barely warm. What a shame. Jackie served us nice cold beers and was understanding of the food complaint, taking it off my bill. Hilltown Tavern has always been hit or miss on the food. They really need a decent chef. The neighborhood could use a great spot for food and drinks.

Cozy neighborhood place. Friendly staff. Good menu. However, food is not worth the money. Had a quick lunch. Turned out pretty expensive. The crab fries were very salty. The fried chicken sandwiches and the quesadillas were pretty good.

Always a chill atmosphere. Great beer on tap . Foods amazing . DONT SLEEP IN THESE GIRLS THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL YET STILL SEEM TO MAKE EVERY SINGLE PERSON FEEL ATTENDED TO . DEFINITELY ONE OF MY TOP 5

Cool neighborhood bar. They have a touch tunes jukebox and a good variety of signature cocktails. I tried the deconstructed French onion soup and it was really good for the price. Our server was nice and attentive and the bar was pretty lively for a Thursday night. I imagine it’s even better in the summer with their outdoor seating.
