A truly incredible experience - Amanda and her team shared fresh, local food treated with such respect and finesse. Bright, balanced flavors and creativity beyond what you expect at even the finest of restaurants. Their love for the food they share is obvious and that, coupled with unbelievable creativity and an upbeat, intimate atmosphere made this hands down the most enjoyable meal I’ve had.

We got in off the waitlist. Not worth the price. Cocktails were good (they're no longer BYO). I liked the veggie dishes and dessert so it started and ended great but the in-betweens we ate only so the kind servers would clear the plates from the table. The menu switches every two weeks so maybe we caught dishes that are not my personal preferences. Regardless, I wouldn't return nor recommend it to others. The experience is unique with the chef speaking to you about each dish but the flavors of the dishes themselves aren't matching other restaurants that come with less hype.

I have been going here since it first started. I love the intimate atmosphere and how the chef introduces you to each dish. In the past they have been a byob but are slowly switching over with a liquor license. My favorite time to go is when the seasons change. Shared are photos from the spring menu in April.

I savored every morsel of one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. The intimate setting and attentive servers and chef made for a perfect evening. A 5 star rating isn't high enough. Bravo!

Next level experience. Food was impressive. The dining experience was very fun and lively.

Best meal I’ve had in Philly. Great chef with amazing culinary creativity. Super fresh food, menu changes regularly to reflect availability of ingredients. Very cool environment, small and intimate. Bring your own wine!

I'm not a reviewer of anywhere that I have a good experience, but this place was hands down the best meal I've ever had in Philly. I couldn't recommend it more. Just blown away from yesterdays meal.

Cool environment, good food, nice chef.

Hands down the best meal I've ever had. 1000/10 recommend.

Wow wow wow--the best meal I've had in Philadelphia, and one of my favorite meals ever. Amanda served a 4 course, 7 dish meal, all of which were pretty much flawless. The ingredients were local and seasonal, the cooking was technically precise, soulful, and creative without being pretentious, and Amanda took the time to introduce each course to the restaurant. The highlights of the dinner were the Jersey soft shell crabs served with a bloody mary sauce, homemade ravioli with a creamed corn filling and topped with crab, and ridiculous eggplant caponata with homemade focaccia. The meal was also an incredibly good value at $65 a person, as the tasting menu leaves you quite full (unlike some other tasting menus in the city). If you have an opportunity to make a reservation at Her Place, you need to do it now.
