This is a decent spot to grab a quick bite. Not authenitc tacos by any stretch but still pretty good. I have tried a bunch of different items on the menu. My last visit I tried a few different empanadas which were all pretty tastey.
I've been to Heffe Tacos numerous amounts of times. The 9th street empanadas deserve 5 stars. The fatman burrito definitely lacks flavor. That's where the loss of a star comes from. I now only get empanadas when I order.
Nope this is not it, I can tell from my first bite that it was not authentic Mexican food. I had the polo yo it was not good at all very greasy and had some type of fried chicken in it. My wife had the birria tacos and she only took one bite and couldn’t eat the rest. Just a weird mix of ingredients just keep it simple and authentic.
I wish i could give this place a 0 rating. my partner and i ordered from here on uber eats and we got nachos, chips and guacamole, and their birria tacos. The guacamole was basically brown, and the chips that came with them and the nachos were so salty to the point that they were inedible, plus our nachos basically had no cheese on them. The tacos weren’t horrible but they weren’t even authentic birria tacos. Very disappointing and will not be getting anything from here again.

CASH ONLY. I’m giving benefit of doubt points to get to a 4. Really I’d give a 3.5. Tacos needed a tad more structure. Overall pretty tasty but I wouldn’t go crazy for it. Good over all. Service time is slow but only one grill.
Mexican Buddha and the crispy shrimp taco on special were really good. Double dragon was also great. Quality seemed to improve since the last time we ordered there a few months ago.Cash only is dumb tho. Need to accept card like everyone else or allow electronic payments via Venmo.
