I’ve been going to the Han Dynasty in Extin for years and it’s great. This place is 1000% better in terms of flavor. The dry pepper fish ( a favorite of mine) was phenomenal. Between the crunchiness of the breading, the fish cooked to perfection, and the overall taste, you need to try it here. I also decided to try the spicy mung bean noodles. They were very good. The consistency is kind of like veggie noodles mixed with udon. However, my server Lelu, was not great. The only time she came to my table was to bring my drink and bring the check (which I had to raise my hand and ask for). She never came to see how I was doing or refill my water. I had to ask a passing server for a refill. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she’s new. Other than that, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back when I’m the area.Btw, the dried peppers are edible and very tasty. 10/10 would recommend
Fresh food, fast service, friendly people
I ordered the dry pepper style chicken and chicken fried rice. Both were great as usual. You also have the option to select the spice level of your food from 1-10 (least to most spicy). Han dynasty is one of the few Chinese restaurants I order from, their food isn’t too greasy except for the garlic chicken which is literally in oil. Otherwise I’m usually pleased with the ordering process from start to work end.
Visited this established several times within a year with my daughter and my yummy Italian bf. We always have a great time and enjoy our meal. I like the atmosphere and enjoy the customer service.
I’d give them 6 stars if I could. Food is just so delicious - the Dan Dan noodles are the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried it in multiple restaurants in different cities. Also, shoutout to the cumin lamb and black bean fish!
I normally love Han Dynasty and would rate it a 5. However, they don’t have the string beans with minced pork option on their online ordering menu even though they have it in the in-store menu. This means I’ve had to call in my order instead of just through the website. The most recent order I was put on hold on the phone for over 20 minutes and eventually the call ended. Then when I had picked up the order and gone home I was missing one of the items on the order.
I have had fried rice and lo mein here which is good. But the garlic sauce fried chicken was ok. The sauce was good but the fried chicken tasted a couple days old or so.
Always a go to lunch spot in the area. Glad they're serving indoors again. Lunch menu items are half of a dinner portion, but the perfect size for one.
Chef does not know how to make Szechuan Dan Dan noodles. It was served with a heavy sesame paste sauce on top, and little to no red chili oil at the bottom.
Great for dine-in or takeout, with ample portions. Their spicy is actually spicy, which is greatly appreciated, and the customizable spice levels allow the dishes to all be very customized. Staff was really nice when I was able to go in person.
