Walked in, sat down....and walked right out! I first ate @ Han a couple of times, several years ago and the experience then was overall very good. Last night however, I was completely turned off by how unbelievably DIRTY the entire restaurant was. I always loved the architecture of this historic building and its beauty both inside and out. But its apparent that no one is paying attention to how filthy the place really is and to me that's a red flag. If front of house is not clean, back of house will be even worse. The front door was dirty & the lobby was unkept. Walls were scuffed up and floors were too. We sat at a large booth and the table top was sticky. The shelf area and casework all around us was dirty and our clear view of the back of the service/hostess station was off putting as it was filled with junk and cleaning supplies (unused apparently) that diners shouldn't have to look at! Before our server arrived I took a quick trip to the restroom and it was horrible. Total eye opener. On the way I noticed how much of a mess the other service station was and a quick glance inside the kitchen was also quite telling. I headed immediately back to our table and quickly suggested to the other (3) members of my party of (4) that we should go somewhere else! They all agreed as they knew from sitting down that the place was dirty. As we walked out I took a closer look at all the dirt on the front door and thought to myself, "This is Hotel & Restaurant Management 101". How can they be so inattentive to the details? There are far too many other great choices in Old City to be this lackluster with the basics in the operation of a food establishment that charges a good $ for their dishes. Obviously I didn't taste the food but I'm sure I didn't miss a thing. It's too bad. We were out for a B-Day celebration and were looking to spend some good $ on food and drinks. Management just robbed one of their servers of an opportunity to earn a 25% tip! Clean up your act HD....or you will soon be out of business.

Decided to meet up at H.D with friends and it was a poor experience. This place is so neglected and it shows. Dust everywhere. So much dirt and water on the table, it almost seemed magnetic to anything that was placed on there. The drinks were watered down, food was mediocre and the service was crass! Day and night difference from when we used to come before the pandemic..

My wife and I, had dinner here last night for our Anniversary and this place was SPECTACULAR! The service was SUPER. Our server (Shawn) was nothing short of SUPERB! Shawn, gave us great recommendations, and broke down the menu in detail to us. Then, to top it all off, the food was EXCELLENT and AUTHENTIC. The EXPERIENCE was GREAT from the start to the very end! Wow! This Restaurant is an EXTRAORDINARY option, if you are looking for a more than SATISFACTORY night out on the town to eat. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! Enjoy!

When the food arrived at the table I was quite disappointed at the meager portion, especially given the price. It didn't taste good either.Frankly, the high ratings for this restaurant are misleading.I give it 2 stars for having an interesting atmosphere, but in terms of food it doesn't match what you could get at other restaurants at a lower price.

Brilliant meal tonight and our server Shaun was awesome. Great food and location. So quick and tasty. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful decor. Soup dishes were dirty with black grease. Waiter didn't seem surprised, changed them with no comment. Wonton soup was almost too salty to eat. Food was plentiful but meh. Not worth the price ?

Food and staff were awesome. Definitely deserves a revisit.

So disappointed that our experience did not match the reviews at all. In fact, our experience was so awful, I wish we never went.We went for Chinese New Year and there were only 3 tables filled and six people at the bar. The host did not acknowledge us and we sat at the bar; seems like he was too busy with to-go orders. Food was rather lackluster and took over an hour to come out. We ordered dumplings, wontons, 3 cup chicken, scallion pancakes and cucumbers. The wontons and dumplings tasted frozen. The rest of the food was cold and tasted like subpar takeout. One of the only pros is the building is truly beautiful on the inside. What truly ruined the night for us and turned this into a nightmare was the bartender’s erratic behavior. She appeared under the influence. She consistently forgot our order to the point where we ordered a water and a minute later she delivered it to the patron across the bar. Her movements were jerky and her speech was aggressive. She was clearly upset with her coworker and let everyone at the bar know it. We asked for a Lucky Buddha beer and she gave us a PBR. She was unable to tell us when menu items we ordered were unavailable, like the green beans, until we finished eating and then still charged us until we pointed it out. She inserted our card multiple times into the reader because she kept putting it in on the wrong side. I get everyone has bad days but we felt so uncomfortable and service was incredibly slow. I would never recommend and never return due to the bartender and the below average food.

We were in town meeting friends for the weekend. The weather and covid limited our options for dinner. Looking for a reasonably priced food we could take out. We settled on chinese from Han Dynasty as a reasonable option, expecting standard fare. We were so surprised. Each dish was better than the next. Dan Dan noodles, dumplings in Chili sauce, hot pot, dry pot, honey shrimp. All outstanding. Dishes as recommended were quite spicy. Ordering on line was a snap. Food was ready on time. This is going to be a standard whenever we are in town.

Spicy beef Dan Dan noodle soup was great, Tiger brand bottled beer poured in a glass was nice and full-bodied, complimented and cut the spice of the noodle soup down just nicely.Ben is a nice manager, just a bit quirky as an individual and a little pompous (which is common amongst food industry management).Alexis is a sweet server!!The manager and some of the front of house staff made this a 3-Star Review, otherwise a 5-Star if only the food and interior design is taken into account.
