Great coffee all around, but the matcha is straight up sad. Like too many other places, they are very shy about using the necessary amount of matcha powder.
Literally stumbled upon this place. It's hidden in an alley but cashier was friendly and pastries were delicious!Will come back to try the coffee.

The barista Dillion was incredibly rude to me on my 2nd visit in having him at the counter. He was slightly rude the first time and then disturbingly rude the second time. I looked him in the eye and greeted him and told him my order. He did not say anything in return, but turned around to make the coffee. After making the order, he turned back around and told me the $ of my order. For some reason I hoped it was because he didn't hear me that he ignored me so I told him that it was rude to not greet someone back when they say hello to you. He told me that he "performed his service". He then proceeded to tell me about how he was a service worker during Covid as an explanation for his rudeness. I explained to him that I was a human being and asked him to think about how it made me feel when he refused to acknowledge my presence. He then said that he ignored me because I didn't tip the last time. I can't understand behavior like this.
A coffee to go included with a purchase of beans?? Yes! Please and thank you! Customer service done right.
Their cold brew is super strong and delicious, finally a good roastery in the PBZ section of South Philly. Much needed and great!
Friendly service and a great cup of coffee. Also had a DELICIOUS chocolate croissant. Yum.
