The food options here are amazing. The food is very well made. There is a great selection of choices and with our without meat. Also the coffee here is from La Colombe, so that's a plus if you enjoy their roast. The drinks had very interesting choices as well. Everything was fresh and well seasoned and made to order. Staff are friendly and attentive.

The food here is amazing the service is very quick our waitress was very attentive to us and checked on my daughter and I a lot.

CASH ONLY ***An overall wonderful experience from start to end. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the restaurant has a great menu.I ordered the velvet pancakes that were served with strawberries and the cream brûlée coffee. The velvet pancake was so delicious, great texture, soft and fluffy, loved the generous amount of strawberries served with my dish and my beverage was great as well. The staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating, I noticed they were interacting with all the customers.

We saw on this site the great reviews so we thought we would give it a try. They are cash only but an ATM is on the premises. I had the 3 eggs omelette that looked like a 4 egg omelette. It was huge! 3 add ins are included in the price. You have your choice of a potato side or grits and choice of bread. Everything was good including the service. Give them a tray you won’t be disappointed

We are always in search of good Brunch restaurants and read about the Green Eggs Café – which has several locations in Philadelphia. We visited the one near Rittenhouse square. They have outdoor and indoor seating – however be aware: Cash only. There is an ATM in the restaurant and a Wawa and several banks near by, so you can always get cash if you weren’t aware of their cash-only policy. Chicken & Waffles were delicious – as well as the French toast. Food comes out quickly and is definitely worth a brunch visit.

Excellent service and amazing food.

1. Staff is good, very attentive 2 Portions are very large. 3. Food is not good. 4. Potatoes greasy 5. French toast was room temperature when reached table. I would not go to green eggs café and I would not recommend this.

The moment we got there the female host outside was leaning on the post where she’s stationed as if she’s bored and hate her job. It seemed off from the second we walked up. The host stopped us and asked if we would like to be inside or outside and we chose indoors since it’s 90 degrees. As we went indoors we weren’t greeted or told we had to wait, instead we just waited looking confused. A waitress came inside and we asked her a question and she responded and we are the only ones waiting at the time. A couple comes in after my bestfriend and I, the host comes straight to the caucasian couple that came in minutes later, when she already greeted us and seen us there alone waiting to be seated. I felt uncomfortable when the couple had to tell them we were there first, especially when they knew this already. Things get worse. Our waiter comes over and goes MIA for a little while. Then finally shows up and we order our drinks and he asked if we were ready to order our food, we replied yes and he still left. He brought out our drink, the strawberry fresh and when he did bring it out it tasted like seltzer water, not like a strawberry alcoholic fruity drink. We asked him for a new drink and he persisted that he can make the drink taste better, and honestly it did taste better, but no one else was sending their drinks back to be remade. Another thing which was strange is that I didn’t see any black employees. But anyways, we finally received our food after another table was there after else and ordered way more than us. Also the waiter kept going to tables that he fixed already to re fix, it was just very unprofessional and seemed to reek of favoritism (you know what i mean by that.) Anyways the food was good, my best friend said his creole shrimp and grits were cold, but my steak and eggs were good and hot. I would just try another green eggs cafe next time, but this is the last time for this location. The waiter is in one of my photos by the way. Also you can tell in one of the photos how our drink was watery compared to when he remade it.

Loved the outdoor table, the service, and most of all the huge breakfast. And what a thrill for this Southerner to find excellent cheese grits offered as a go-with side! Portions were huge, the eggs perfectly prepared, and the service generous and warm. If I could imagine a perfect breakfast place, this would be it. We were lucky to grab one of the outdoor tables in the garden area as this place is no secret to locals.
