Giovani's at lunchtime is a subtle, hustle and bustle. The White Tuna Panini is absolutely delicious! Their handmade crumbled cheesecake has a good taste. Would be even tastier if the cream were a little sweeter:)
Born, bred Philly now living in another city. I come home for the Holidays and sometimes to sneak in for a weekend without my relatives knowing. My play is the Club Quarters as it's perfectly located, inexpensive, but clean, and simply works for me and head to Giovani's for a drink and stabilize. Solid bartenders with philly personality which means straight up, genuine, extremely hospitable unless you act like an ass which brings the other philly out of them and they handle you appropriately. Giovani's food quality needs to be talked about more as it's so darn solid. The Chicken Parm sammy has to ranked up there with one of the best I've ever had. There are better cheesesteak places in the city as G's has a large menu it utilizes for business, but it's solid enough that I recommended to a few airline pilots who were staying in CQ as well and were looking for a quickie philly. Killer stromboli. Need to explore menu more next time as everything I had including a slice were extremely good. Great bar staff. Good uplifting atmosphere. My go to when I arrive before I head to my neighborhood and see the fam.
Fantastic center city eatery!!! Amazing food and drinks at unbelievable prices. The most friendly and competent staff you will find anywhere. Clean and beautiful establishment,will definitely be back.
Basically a sports bar with a more varied menu including Italian, Greek, and vegan. I had the pasta which was very good. My girlfriend had a cheese steak which was also good. Limited beer selection. The prices were reasonable.
The food is amazing, drinks are great the staff is amazing, and it’s fairly cheaper then most places in center city. Definitely recommend!!! If you’re in the area definitely stop in!
Great pizza place with over 20 selections of different pizzas available every day. Quiet, great service and outstanding choices of sandwiches and meals besides their trademark pizza bar. Definately a go to again. Presently visit atleast 3 times a week.
Have done a pickup order from here before, but ended up going here for food & drinks about a week ago. When you first come in, it looks like it's just a pizza place, but there's a bar & dining area with TV's towards the back. We got there early enough to catch the drink specials during happy hour and beat more of the crowd that eventually came in. We decided to sit at the bar.The bartender was great and a cool guy - good service, personality, just attentive enough and good at stirring up conversation. We ordered a few drinks along with the Buffalo Shrimp and Wings as our apps. I wasn't expecting the buffalo shrimp to come out how they did, but they were really good! Great size shrimp that were sauteed (rather than fried which is probably what I was expecting), drizzled and sitting in buffalo and ranch dressing - you can get blue cheese instead of ranch since they ask which you prefer. The wings were decent size and what you would expect when ordering wings. The drinks were really good too. He mixed both of our drinks with just enough alcohol that they were strong, but not overpowering in taste.If you're looking for maybe a more low-key spot in Center City for some standard drinks & eats, this could be a good option.
Great staff and good food! It's not too big inside ofthis pretty popular pizza bar and grill. It fills up faston the weekends and even the daily lunch rushpacks the house! The bartenders are super dope(cool) and very accommodating! Security keepseverything intact by strolling around the placechatting with employees and customers. It's a greatplace to hangout and kill some time or link up withyour friends for a great night out!

My buddy took me here the past week for lunch and so far so good but today NOT so good.1) I've gotten slices of pizza here and probably one of the best I've tasted but today I've tried something different, their Penne Pasta. Waited 3-4 mins to come out which I thought it would have taken longer to make?!Top layer was somewhat warm but a tad tough and anything under was cold like it was microwaved!If I wanted to eat something out from the microwave, 5 min mac and cheese would have been cheaper and satisfying!2) 3rd time so far had to wait 5 mins until the bartender came around to ask for utensils.Customer orders food you would think they would just put it out before your food arrives?!?!Note: Bar was NOT busy.Recommendation for those who plan on going there! Go on a Thursday during lunch. Young lady behind the bar is great.Not trying to speak bad about the place just ask your servers be a little bit more aware.
