We had a wonderful time! My cousin and his fiancé just moved to Philly and love sushi. Iâve been here once before and loved it. The sushi was delicious and our server was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!
The loud stomping overhead while eating was not enjoyable. The imitation crab meat was spoiled. Mussels were on the verge of bad as well. I really loved this place once. The mussels were my fave. Wonât be back sadly.
Awesome Experience!!! Great Food & Vibes!!!!
Very slow service and loud big band music, inappropriate for a nice meal
Ended up here by accident after spending hours in the Mutter museum on a rainy Saturday and it was so good. Lunch was a quiet time. Cozy booth with all kinds of dark wood paneling. We got a sashimi appetizer, a hurricane roll, and ex-girlfriend roll, and the house hot sake. Everything was just right. I wouldn't be disappointed if I had the exact same experience next time I go there. P. S. Recommend sharing the hot sake with someone, I ended up drinking the whole thing and was rolling ?
The sushi is so good and so fresh! Their spicy seafood Udon noodle soup is the best soup we have ever had and super spicy! I highly rec if you like spicy!
Originally looking for an omakase experience, we shared sushi for two. The service was very attentive and friendly, the price point great, and the location ideal for coming into the city.
So overpriced and the sushi is mediocre at best. Nice staff but go elsewhere for a better priced meal.
We made a reservation for two but didn’t need it on a Wednesday, the restaurant was nearly empty. The staff was very kind and attentive (without being overbearing). We ordered the Wasabi Shumai (steamed) and Beef Gyoza (fried) to start. (The wasabi was in the shumai wrapper and whoa whoa did it burn your nose. The gyoza was as expected). For entrees, we got the Stone Pot Beef Bibimbap (great, but the pot was too hot so too much of the rice was charred to the point you couldn’t eat it. Would have preferred sliced beef, but the ground beef still has a great flavor), the Angry Tuna roll (so much fish/meat, it was amazing and so flavorful), and a Eel/Cucumber/Avocado hand roll (the eel was a little fishy but overall ok).Overall, nice experience and will be back!
Went there over 10 years ago with a friend and revisited recently. The rolls were still as good as they were from the time I visited back in the day.Only issue is the staff did not greet me during my entry and I was confused as to where to find/pick up my personal order. With parking as horrible as it is, it was taking away time trying to find help.Lastly, they only had door dash orders right in front (open to the public to search) and when I finally got a person to help me, who was one of the many sous chefs who has ignored me during my entry and initial request for help, they were telling me to find it in the door dash table but mine was to go/online.When I finally got assistance, a staff member told he they didn't have the order then gave it to me. It was too much trouble just to get online food (in the rain, might I add).Figure out a better streamline service so that its patrons can have a better experience. The food is good, but a bad experience for good food can close a business. Especially with the many options of food services in the area
