Amazing, amazing…AH-mazing.In quaint Old City, this modern European/French restaurant gave us the experience of a lifetime. We recently got engaged and as a part of their “proposal package”, we had the opportunity to rent out the restaurant (on an off day) and have a fully customized, personal dinner just us two. Chef Chris is not just a culinary genius but a truly kind man that made this special evening one we’ll never forget. From picking the music, the menu, photos, we felt like royalty and family simultaneously.Thank you Chef Chris (and Lauren!) for the most unforgettable evening. We cannot wait to come back.
Delicious dinner at Forsythia for my bf and I’s anniversary. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend. We started with the Wagyu Beef Tartare Tartine which definitely set everything off to a wonderful start and got us super excited for the rest of the dishes. We followed up with the Blanquette De Lapin for Two which did not disappoint. For dessert we went for the Baba au Rhum which of course was delicious. Will definitely have to go back and try out other dishes for sure. Shoutout to our amazing waiter Seth and compliments to the chef and team :)
My son took me to Forsythia for Mother’s Day. The food was absolutely delicious. Every course on the Brunch menu was amazing. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The music was great. The cocktails delicious. Our table 41 was perfect. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because it definitely deserves it. I absolutely had a wonderful time and highly recommend this restaurant.
Incredible food, great service! Wonderful dining experience ... can't wait to come back!
Delicious dinner on a crowded Saturday night. My husband and I shared the Mussels, skate and the lentil side plus dessert Loved that we could share everything. The mussels were outstanding. The plumpest that I have every seen in a outstanding cream sauce. The skate was perfectly cooked with delicious sauces. Our waiting was friendly and very helpful We had the special dessert with orange sherbet that was so refreshingly after a big meal
We were so excited to get a reservation here for Valentine’s Day. While the ambiance and food were wonderful, the service was absolutely exceptional and was the highlight of the night. The manager, Seth, went above and beyond to give us a lovely experience. He was attentive, friendly, and answered all of the questions we had about the menu. The Epoisses stuffed shells were wonderful and the duck paired nicely with our orange wine. We’ll be recommending a meal here to our family and friends. Thank you!
We arrived just in time to enjoy happy hour selections. Probably the third best happy hour in Old City (with National Mechanics and Lucha Cartel tied for 1st!) Delicious and well executed menu. Bartender was very attentive and creative. I will definitely go back and am looking forward to the happy hour smash burger.
Valentine's Day dinner. Condescending host, inattentive servers. Sat us late after a reservation and gave me an attitude when I asked. There are way too many good restaurants in the city (heck, even in a two-block radius) for this flavor of shenanigans. Next.On the plus side, she really liked her food and the decor and music are top flight. Maybe they should re-open as a takeout restaurant?UPDATE: relayed my thoughts to the manager (Seth) in an measured, polite way to share my thoughts and received a sarcastic comment about "So many stars" and "I'm sure I'll see that in your review," as well as "Well you didn't consume anything, so..." as if that should matter.Well, there you go. Here's the review. I actually had you at two for without that little passive aggressive comment.
Phenomenal dining experience from start to finish. I love how everyone works as a team here to provide top notch service. You can definitely tell they brought in an interior designer to help create a European experience. Food & Cocktails were all great, especially the 40oz Bone in Ribeye.
We heard good things about this place but it was so much better than expected. The lobster pasta special was great. The drinks were creative. And the “fries” were so creative and fun. The mahi mahi main dish was the only thing that was a little off from what we wanted but overall this was a great dining experience.
