This restaurant is a gem. The food is better than some of the places in Trinidad. And the one guy that wanted roti, ridiculous, good roti takes time and if its not made on a Met night its because the chef do not want to disappoint, so maybe they pull it. I love the service and food. Highly recommend.

Came here with some friends on a Sunday for doubles and they had just sold out. After chatting with the staff for a couple minutes, they realized we had come out specifically for the doubles, and they surprised us by offering to start another batch just for us! Super nice people. We enjoyed a little walk around the neighborhood and when we came back, we were treated to the most incredible warm, spiced, delectable doubles. I can see why these sell out so fast! You can tell everything is made with a lot of love. HUGE thanks to the staff at Flambo for making our double dreams come true! I've been thinking about those doubles ever since and I can't wait to come back.

I just had lunch at Flambo. The service was great!! The curry mussels were spectacular...so flavorful and well-seasoned. I just knew I was in store for an equally flavorful main course. However, I was disappointed that my blackened shrimp weren't as tasty. They were good but not as impressive as the mussels. I would definitely return...and only get mussels.

Truly appreciate this gem of a place. I ordered the oxtail and my wife ordered the blackened shrimp before our show at the Met and it was superb. We will definitely put this restaurant on our list for our next shows. It is BYOB which saved us some cash.

Such a special place. Vibes are on point. Staff is amazing and so kind. The food is outstanding. Do not pass on this place. It is special special food. So happy we spent our valentine’s day here.

The food was really good! and the service was on point!! they were very friendly the server! I will recommend this place if anyone is looking for Caribbean food.

My husband and I had such a lovely meal at Flambo last night! They were incredibly kind to seat us even though they were winding down their service on a Tuesday evening. And made us feel welcome and not at all rushed when we were the only two left in the dining room. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine. Best yet...the food! We got the curry mussels appetizer, the goat curry buss up and veggie buss up. So tasty, authentic and homemade. The roti was thin, light and flavorful as well. We ate every bite despite our full bellies. Don't wait to visit Flambo when you are seeing a show at the Met...go now...go often!

STOP!!!! PLEASE READ!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! You WILL receive SCRAPS and they WILL tell you they can’t afford to buy food anymore. Look at what I paid OVER $20 for. Nothing!!!!!! On top of it all, the oxtails were NOT EDIBLE!!!!!! This place is HORRIFIC. Stand by for a more detailed review. I had to do this from the parking space. As SOON as i get home, I will tell you the whole story. I have NEVER EVER been so disappointed. ????????????????????????????????????????????

Thanks to Flambo and its team for a great experience last night. The food and service was on point. I was impressed how accommodating they were to us. Highly recommend this family business! They are BYOB!

An original Trini is strongly recommending this restaurant. The Doubles is way better than the Doubles from Debe! Will be back upon my visit, stay safe!
