The food was very very good, I def recommend the burger and the meatball sub. It’s a small menu but it seems like they do everything right. And hey, you cant go wrong with their $5 mimosas from 12-4 on the weekends.
Great staff. Gets super busy on weekends between 9pm and 11pm. Cheap drinks, and good music on all the time. Great little dive bar.
Since the pandemic most restaurants have revised their menus. Fishtown Tavern's burger was good before but now is bigger and better, earning it top spot on my personal 'best of' list.The traditional sesame seed bun was toasted to perfection (soft in the middle, just a bit of crunch on the outside - the timing to get it in that goldilocks zone is measured in seconds not minutes). It was the right size for the beef patties (not too big, not too small). And it didn't fall apart, while eating.The double patties were fresh and well cooked, goldilocks zone again, cooked through but moist. Each patty was about 4oz making this a very generous portioned meal.Topped with very fresh lettuce and tomato. In addition to a coleslaw sauce, giving the otherwise traditional burger a unique signature.It is the attention to detail that sets a great hamburger apart from the crowd, and Fishtown Tavern has over a dozen other burger places with 2-3 blocks. I haven't been to all of them post-covid, but have tried quite a few, and this is the only one I felt compelled to review (a couple are 4 stars and two would only get 1 star - I prefer to only write positive reviews).
Friendly staff, laid back vibe and a wide variety of music. Meatball sub is good and the burger is huge. I plan to go back one weekend for the $5 Bloody Mary’s!
Best place in our trip from the west coast to the east coast. Love this place. Fishtown Tavern is an intersection of everyone in the neighborhood. Best night of our trip!!! Xxoo

Awesome fun bartender! He was super cool and fun. I would love to go back and have another drink with him working. I didnt get a chance to try their food but i would love to on next visit.
Local dive with affordable drinks, a small but nice beer lost, and great pin fare. Fast and friendly service.
