Poor customer service and experience.I arrived 5-10 min before the store opened to pick up two dozens of donuts on my way to work. They told me to wait outside because they open at 7 am, which is fine. When I went in at 7, they only had 2 types of glazed donuts and no fancy donuts or anything else because their power was out or something. It would’ve been nice to know that before having to wait and then find out. The staff didn’t even seem sorry about it. This was my first and only experience at the store. I was disappointed, and Dunkin’ Donuts came to the rescue around the block with quick service and freshly made donuts ready to go.2 stars because donuts are pretty good at least when my friends brought them before. (Haven’t had their chicken)
Forget about the donuts when you come here and get their crispy chicken sandwich combo with zataar fries. This is also the best location i tried in philly for dining in. Seats are plenty and comfortable. It closes earlier than some of their other locations though so keep that in mind before making plans.
Listen!Everyone must order Buttermilk Ranch chicken.the chicken is extra tasty and made fresh,Their chicken sandwich is also incredibly yummy. I highly recommend eating here!
I like their new (not too far away) accommodations better than the old place - it's bright and new. The donuts are very good especially when they're fresh but I still think they're overpriced, in fact I think they raised their prices. A half dozen fresh donuts and three fancy donuts set me back $18. I mean I get it's not a chain and it's local and that's all well and good but they are just good donuts.
If you only try 1 donut, get the cinnamon brown sugar donut.I tried all 3 hot donuts. They were fresh (made to order), light and airy. Cinnamon brown sugar was very good and I will get it again. Cookies & Cream and Strawberry Lavender were… unnecessary. Won’t get those again.
This is a great spot for delicious donuts!! Cannot emphasize enough how kind and caring Mara is. She's a wonderful host who makes everyone feel right at home. Definitely want to come back, especially if she's still there. 100% whatever she's making, she deserves double!!!
Sneaky tip adding -- up to 40% tip? While the food is great, I find it sneaky that as of 2022, a 10% "service charge", i.e. tip, is added (which they quickly zoom through in the checkout screen and have a small tucked away sign which says they add this now), THEN ask for another 10-30% tip. I tip well, but my take-out tip from Fed Donuts doesn't need to add up to 40%!
These doughnuts are among the best I ever had. I went for the vanilla potato chip and the classic chocolate cake and it was all about as good as it gets.
Delicious donuts! Way better than Dunkin’ Donuts. Yes, I said what I said and I stand by that.
I will add that a manager contacted me, refunded my purchase and sent me a 25 dollar gift card stating that the situation would be addressed and they were very sorry this happened.AVOID - went downhill fastUsed to be my favorite spot for fried chicken or donuts, but this place went down hill since moving to up the block. The last two times I ordered the fried chicken and fries were so burnt they were barely edible. The meat was stringy and gross like it has been sitting for days. The fries had black chunks of burnt whatever in them. there was so much salt I can still taste it as I type a hour later. DO NOT EAT HERE 2 visits in 3 weeks, same experience.
