So good. Reasonable prices and very delectable food. Word of advice: the portions are enormous; so unless you haven’t eaten in a month or you’re thinking of taking some of the rest back home, share your order. The matzah ball soup is exquisite.

The food and service here is terrific. Our party of ten enjoyed a great variety of old time kosher style cuisine, such as matzo ball soup stuffed cabbage potato latkes and gigantic corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Their desserts also were over the top delicious. We recommend this fine establishment highly.

Sandwiches were large and tasty. First time having matzo ball soup - reminds me of chicken noodle which is always a reminder of home.Definitely split sandwiches - we still brought leftovers home. They even serve wonderful cookies at the end of the meal.We actually came in looking for a sweets spots. They do have a nice collection when you walk in - ended up having dinner instead. Definitely will return!

Ordered the smoked fish platter for 10 people. A huge step above the smoked fish platter we have gotten here in Cherry Hill. Highly recommended!

If you like a lot of food, this is your place. Small deli in Old City Philadelphia that has all day breakfast and huge sandwiches with lots of extras. Tables are close together and service is slow but food is filling. Too much food for me but most people love more than less food

I haven't been there for years. So it was a bit nostalgic. But the service was pleasantly delightful and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place for breakfast, lunch & dinner. I had the Hot Roast Beef and my friend had the Rueben w/melted cheese

I was really unimpressed with the sandwich I got. I’m from The Bronx, NYC, so I know and love deli meat and was expecting a good tasty sandwich. Instead, I got just a bunch of salami between two breads. No condiments, no lettuce tomato. It doesn’t indicate that the sandwiches does not come with that so I just expected it like a normal person. It was weird to go to a deli and just have that dry sandwich. I’m very sad and robbed of $28 smh. I will not be recommending anyone here.

This place is an absolute must stop. Got the Franklin Avenue sandwich. Their corn beef was incredible. The potato pancakes was on point as well as the pickles, cookies and baked items. Do not leave Philly before you stop here!!

Was in the area doing a candle making session at Loomen Labs nearby and decided to try 4th street deli while waiting for our candles to set.Super glad we did! There was a 10 minute wait at around 2pm on a Sunday, but once we were seated everything came quickly. Service was top notch as we didn't feel rushed at all and they answered our questions. We got the hot pastrami sandwich, bagels and lox, matzoh ball soup, and a black and white cookie. Everything was phenomenal, and very large sizes. We left with a to go box, and definitely plan to come back!

What a great experience! This deli is only a few blocks from my girlfriend's apartment, yet this was our first visit! Pretty sure this place has EVERYTHING you could possibly expect from a top end Jewish deli. We decided to order a "regular" sized hot pastrami + turkey sandwich along with a bacon grilled cheese sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. The potato pancakes are a must-order on the side too! We took home a slice of confetti cake and that 100% exceeded my expectations. Our server was great and the overall atmosphere in this place was very fitting.I will say the prices are probably a little on the expensive side but definitely worth it. We will be returning for sure!
