The beer is great and the outdoor space is dog-friendly! Great spot to hang out in the city, especially if you have doggos!

Love everything about this place! I am visiting from Monterrey, Mexico and was very nervous when I heard they had $1 taco night… but I’m so glad I was proved wrong!!! All I needed was a little lime and salsa to go with them ? delicious either way!

This was my first time at Evil Genius Beer Company . The vibe is very chill.. the food was okay. I had the $1 tacos on Thursday. It was the first Thursday selling tacos for this special. The tacos didn’t come with cheese, so be sure to request it. The tacos were kind of bland. I had to use hot sauce to add some flavor. The staff were friendly. No complaints with that. The woman with the dreads made my margarita perfectly. She was sweet. The music was a cool, they played a host of songs. This is the perfect place for a quick bite, and for the beer lovers. They had a variety of beer flavors on tap and in the can. Definitely a must try if you enjoy a nice cold brew.

Love the drag shows and delicious beer!

Visited Evil Genius finally after living in Philly for a few years now. Came out to try their sour beer focused event which was fun! The beer garden was a little small for the event and more shade would have been appreciated, but the sours were great. Afterwards we tried out the normal tap room and was impressed with the vibes inside. Will likely come back to try more beers.

Great entertainment, food, and drinks!

Cool, airy spot with good beer and big screens to watch the Champions League Final. It was pretty empty when I came at 3:30pm on a Sat but gradually filled up. They also have a lot of board games and big tables for big groups. Nice outdoors area too, but without screens.

Great brewery, they've increased their food options since the last time I've gone. Good beer selection and it's not overpriced. Staff is very pleasant, and their QR ordering system is better than most expensive restaurants I've been to. Stumbled upon a trivia night I didn't know they did and we all had a really good time.

This place is a joke. A quick Google search showed this as one of the best rated breweries in Fishtown area, so we decided to take our overseas friend there to try out their beers! Well, we were turned away because our 42 year old guest from India didn't bring in his passport and they wouldn't accept his driver's license (or a copy of his passport) as an ID. When we tried to explain to her that in all these years, we've never come across a place that would refuse entry with a valid ID from any place, the lady was very rude and said something like "dude, this conversation is going nowhere and you need to leave". Owners of this place - this happened at around 1:30pm on 5/15, just in case you had cameras that recorded our conversation!

One of the coolest venues for a brewery. Nerd and pop culture paradise. Where else can you watch 1980s transformers and Seinfeld at a bar? They have (had?) retro video games to play and every beer name is a reference to some movie, show or meme. Yesssssss that's the Christopher Walken cooler... Get it? ?They do really fun beer and they're overall very enjoyable. Food options are limited which is ok! They specialize in beer. It's mostly snacks/apps like pretzels.Parking could be better but that's like legit the only complaint.
