Beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service. A MUST do dining experience!!! Love this place!
Elwood is incredible. An amazing dining experience, and the owner is so knowledgeable about his food, and it’s history. A small menu, but everything we ordered felt unique and special. We had three appetizers, and the rabbit for two entree.From what I gather, most if not all of the food comes from local farms and providers, and you can really taste the difference.I can’t gush about this place enough. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking it out.Also, the music felt like it was from my personal playlist, and the ambiance suits the menu perfectly.

unique dishes and great service
Stopped in for tea service this morning. The place is serene and cozy. The service was professional and friendly. The $35 pp tea with savories and sweets was an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Every bite was a delightful surprise and the staff did not rush us at all. Highly recommend!
Absolutely incredible. The chef was just nominated for a James Beard and was personally bringing the food out, telling us as much as we wanted to know about every dish, from the beaver jerky to the venison pierogi. Our group ordered just about everything on the menu and it was all great. Thanks again!
Best meal in Philadelphia. Elevated Pennsylvania fare. An absolute local treasure. A little too hidden away, but our gain as reservations are readily available (until this place is inevitably discovered by the foodies and becomes unbookable.)
The food is fabulous at Elwood. You can tell the Chef puts heart and talent into his creations, while paying respect to PA cuisine and products. Absolutely wonderful dinner from start to finish. If Michelin ever decides to make its way to Philadelphia, I hope they are a contender!
First time visiting Philly and was looking for a place to eat for Thanksgiving. Randomly found this spot and boy was I pleasantly surprised. From the moment I called I was greeted by the owner/chef. Had a pleasant conversation and made my reservation. The restaurant is warm, inviting, and elegant. The food equally good. Great job and thanks for having me!
Pleasant surroundings in a small neighborhood facility. Food is fabulous. Every morsel scrumptious and beautifully presented. Pricey, but appropriate for the quality.
