MUST TRY. birrata is made beef shoulders braised over time and dipped in this beautiful thick savory sauce. It's not on menu and it's new. It is so darn good. The sopes, nachos, the tacos.. you have to try it all. We had great service and the food is just perfect!

We came here for dinner. They serve a tex-mex type of food. They were fairly quick to get us seated. They weren't very busy but once we got seated service was slow.We were seated across from the bar and there were 3 people who were competing to see who could talk the loudest. It would have been better to have been sat somewhere away from them, there were plenty of empty tables. The chips were thick style and the salsa was good.We ordered burritos, one pork and one beef. they were large and had a good flavor but contained mostly rice. The cost was not too bad for the area.We feel that we can recommend this place.

I really enjoyed the food. I had a shrimp burrito which was a great size and had tons of flavor. However, the service was truly disappointing. It’s almost like the server was avoiding our table so we didn’t ask for anything. Keep in mind, we only wanted to order and get the check the times we were looking for him. Maybe they need more front of house staff, but the guests shouldn’t have to feel that way.

A great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Probably some of the best burritos in the city and they're huge so you really get your money's worth. Stopped by the bar a couple times and it's usually been a good experience, drink selection is good and they have a variety of tequilas and some mezcals.

Surprised to find such a deal for Mexican food in the city. Food was delicious. Drinks were amazing, I mean you can never go wrong with handmade margaritas! We will definitely be back.

The size of the dishes is super generous and the food is delicious to say the least. It took a couple minutes for the food to be ready but was worth it and the waiter was super nice and helped us with suggestions. Great experience ☺️

A new favorite of ours. It is a Tex-Mex American style Mexican restaurant, which is maybe why others coming here expecting authentic style Mexican cuisine would be let down. We stopped by for lunch and had a great experience and I'm confused why more people aren't enjoying this great restaurant. The vibes and atmosphere are fun and well designed. The drinks were plenty strong and very good. All of our food was tasty with good seasoning. We ordered the chips and salsa and they were great, the only downside here is we didn't get a refill on the chips and there was a ton of salsa left. I ordered chicken enchiladas and they are some of the best I've had in Philly, with a huge portion size including the sides. Everyone at our lunch was thrilled with the service, and our waiter was extremely nice and polite. He definitely made the experience even better.

Went here with my brother and our teenage sons. The staff was very friendly. The food was insanely good. We got burritos (el pastor was especially good), quesadillas, and tacos. Everything was great. The draft beer selection was not large but was good. We would definitely go here again.

Visiting Philly on a business/family trip and was hungry for Mexican food. And, this place hit the spot. Reminds me of Mexican food in San Diego!!! We ordered a wet green burrito, asada burrito, shrimp quesadilla, and two (cheese & regular) flans for take out. Everything was delicious. Our kids loved their quesadilla and I devoured the wet burrito!!! No pics because there's like nothing left. Lols.My husband also said his steak burrito was good. Flan was yummy too! They forgot our horchata and my husband had to go back for it. So, they gave us another one for free. Thank you for the food and the excellent customer service! Will try to come back when we are in town again.

Visited for an early Friday dinner and had a chicken quesadilla, asada tacos, margarita, and queso.Nothing really stood out to me, however everything was solid and I wouldn't turn down a friend wanting to go back.
