Cash only, but cheap. Can be a little tight inside, but there's extra space outside if it's nice out. Quick service. Good spot to get started or end your night.

Great little dive bar. Plenty of memories here. Some happy some sad some pretty dicey. Good prices, limited food, cool music at times. Little pool table. Smoking out back. Lively some days and chill others. Great people. Cats. What more could you ask for

A dive bar among a sea of gentrified obnoxious-ness. Day drinking with caring bartenders! Has a jukebox but at certain hours the bar tender is open to playing anything from their Playlist. Love coming here to just chill with no judgment.

Awesome pool table, bartenders, hotdogs, and friendly regulars and strangers. Nice backyard patio. Awesome City wides!

Great little dive bar. Outdoor seating out back, good music, decent crowd, horrible bathrooms.

Come for the atmosphere, stay for the driest limes this side of the Delaware. But in all seriousness, great spot especially if you love a good dive bar.

Was having a good ole time until the bar tender was extremely rude to my girlfriend for no reason. She said, “when you get a chance, could I get a yuengling?” He was literally standing right in front of her, wouldn’t make eye contact, and just straight up ignored her. She asked, “hey did you hear me?” And he very rudely said, “you’re not next in line, I’ll only take your order when I look at you.” First of all, what line? We’re sitting at the bar and you’re literally standing right in front of us. She asked so nicely and he was so rude for no reason at all. It’s really terrible that people these days cannot nicely say “hold on one sec, I’ll be right with you.” No reason for the attitude. Once I told my friends what happened, they also said he kept ignoring them too. Sounds like the guy is just miserable and shouldn’t be bartending there. At least the music that was playing was good.

Bartender during the day at El bar around 2 pm was awesome! First time in Philly, he made my friend and I feel right at home! Super informative about the area, gave us great ideas on what to do around town! As the first bar we walked into, it was the best experience we could ask for!

Racist patron - staff did nothing. A white female patron was saying incredibly racist and ignorant things. I told the doorman and his response was "There's nothing I can do. I have Black friends though so I know what it's like."

horrible hipster bar for horrible annoying hipsters and basically their own version of police department for bouncers they act like the third reich
