Amazing food and it’s 100% halal Mexican food

Tonight’s service wasn’t the best at all. The staff are super nice and greeting but the food wasn’t up to par. To start the night we walked in to an empty dinner room. The chips and queso with salsa was not queso or salsa. I got barbacoa tacos and the tacos had no flavor. The best part of the night was my coke to say the least. Unfortunately, I will have to pass for the future.

Food wasn't bad but the nickel and dime on everything was a bit much very basic menu and WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR RICE??!!! There is no need to put THAT much pepper on the rice its an abomination to any culture that has rice as its staple especially Latino/Hispanic... do better! But the front was sweet and very nice.

Finding a halal Mexican restaurant is rare. Finding one that tastes good Is even more rare. The food here was really good. Had the barbacoa tacos. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointing, which makes me sad because I used to order Don Panchito through Uber Eats before I fell out of the delivery zone. But I remember liking it and ultimately found two other places to get my fix from (Provecho and Asadero Los Tios). When I realized I could get Dom Panchito delivered through DD, I went with them today instead of Asadero and I’m so disappointed. There was nothing wrong it just wasn’t good. The Mexican loaded fries were awful and the shrimp burrito was beyond tasteless. Maybe I’m remembering Don Panchito as better than it was but I really feel like I wasted my money and should have just paid a little more for Asadero Los Tios, which has been delicious every time.

we usually order and love them but for some reason the recipe must have changed and there was avocado on our burritos. my mom is allergic to avocado and I just don't like it. There is guacamole listed now on the menu after I tried to submit my door dash review which they denied. It’s all good just make sure y’all menus are updated before people order. Like I said I never had an issue with them before but we never had guacamole on NONE of the previous burritos orders over the yrs that we have been customers.

honestly so disappointed. they only had one server tending the whole restaurant. she was super sweet and trying to accommodate all the tables so it wasn’t her fault. our food took a looooong time to come out even though we ordered apps. the menu was also so so limited? they didn’t have any beverages except water and coke? the tacos were good but just super dry but the fajitas were terrible and definitely needed more seasoning. also the fajitas were nothing like how you usually get fajitas in restaurants. they also didn’t serve us napkins or utensils until we asked. they also gave our food in to go plates and plastics and it felt so strange when they act like they are a fine dining restaurant? they really need to work on how they present their food and overall taste and quality.

@halal_mexican is a hidden gem in Philadelphia that has some of the best HALAL Mexican cuisine that I’ve ever tasted. I love that I was able to find a Mexican halal spot. Pictured: -Flautas -Shrimp Chimichanga -Mini Corn on the Cob -Chicken Tacos -Steak Burrito Bowl My favorite item from there has to be the flautas. It’s a deep fried rolled chicken tacos served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Highly recommend this restaurant to all those seeking a tasty mexican restaurant with good service and halal food! Thank you @halal_mexican for being so hospitable and accommodating. I’ll be coming back here next visit

The food was amazing. Very fresh and delicious. Alhamdulillah, so glad to find a Halal Mexican place. The staff was super nice and accommodating.Sorry had to take off one star for the condition of the place. The chairs, table, interiors, walls, restrooms - everything is a mess.

Hardly qualifies as Mexican food. No salsa for dipping. My chimichanga was served dry. No sour cream, no pico. Rice and beans isn't even on the menu. No silverware, only plastic. Canned soda. No glass, no ice.
