Excellent firewood pizza. Not a beer drinker, the hubby is but the one I do like is delicious ?. They have craft cocktails and I always enjoy them. Let's just say we drive 1.45 hours to enjoy the place.

I had an amazing experience. I'm a west Philly native and I visited for the first time today. I LOVE the vibe. Mike and the other Staff were amazing and quick and personable. I die for their cocktails and the bartenders skill set. I will definitely be going back!! ??

King juice great beer trio fries with the sauce is amazing quality bartenders and grooves

Great spot. Good food, great beers, and they treat their people well. 15% gratuity is included in all transactions to support a living wage for their employees, very cool choice.

Loved the chill and relaxed atmosphere here. Ordered the panko fried mozzarella and the Flammenkuche pizza. First come, first served seating.

This Fire House turned Pub has a relaxed atmosphere and has a nice vibe with friendly and professional staff and service. Mask, COVID vaccination and ID are required and they do check (I loved that). I went for lunch with a friend he couldn't initially find his documentation and we had to leave. He walked out and he went on line to retrieve it so we were able to eat after all. We had: 1. Brussels Sprouts: great idea and not expected at a pub, this would have been good dish had it not been too salty. 2. Buffalo Cauliflower Bites: this is a great dish and also not expected on a pub menu. I enjoyed it but the side maple syrup dipping sauce is not needed so I did not countinue to eat it. I was also glad it WASN'T on the Cauliflower Bites otherwise it would have ruined it. 3. Florentina Pizza: was perfecto I wouldnt change a thing. I would just add jalapeno topping next time. 4. Mellow Yellow Pizza: my date enjoyed it but it was way to much dijon mustard for my taste. 5. Rum and coke drinks as neither one of us drink beer were good. I took off a star because the brussel sprouts were too salty to both of us an and too much mustard on the Mellow Yellow Pizza for me. OVERALL: they get an A and I would recommend.

I’ve lived down the street from and patronized Dock Street with regularity for the past 12 years. I’ve easily spent thousands of dollars there over the years. I have always loved going there to eat, movie nights, happy hour, outdoor seating, grabbing pies dough and growlers to go, but it’s gone a bit downhill sadly. I understand the pandemic has been hard on business owners and staff, but with other places bursting and bustling all over the city, I had to wonder why this place is consistently empty. They have very limited hours currently. The menu hasn’t changed in 10 years— it is apparent that the owner/managers have an aversion to switching anything up here, or encouraging their chef to run real specials. The pizzas are delicious but they are consistently both simultaneously over or under done. They come out soggy in the middle and charred on the crust. We sat at the bar. Service was attentive and warm. I don’t know if they’re dishwasher broke or quit but we were served with paper plates and plastic forks. Fine. Their beers are all ~eight or nine dollars and they do not offer a happy hour pour or pizza as advertised on their site. I don’t know who is pricing their beers. But fine. I would have overlooked all of this and returned knowing what to expect if not for the final kick in the bucket. Two people. Three beers (total not each), one appetizer and one v *small* pizza (just a snack) was almost $60. I went to tip and noticed the bill seemed a bit high and that I had been auto gratted (less than I was going to tip by several dollars), however our server neither mentioned it or circled it when dropping the check. I worked in the service industry for a decade and this is *not* a customary practice. Whenever you grat someone you should make a point to address that, even by just drawing a little arrow in the check noting it. It is a not just a convenience but a matter of transparency and acknowledgment of the grat. When a wait staff drops a check with a grat on it and doesn’t address it or even just circle it maybe, just maybe they’re counting on those folks who don’t notice, such that they get tipped twice. This ain’t my first rodeo. Adding gratuity without acknowledging it will definitely cause any unscrupulous person to tip 20% without examining the bill. That being said the staff was still awesome, v personable and warm and maybe this is not true and it was just blindly overlooked. Maybe the staff has been trained to drop a autogratted check and say nothing of it, but in my years as a server this was NOT customary. At least tell people you’re doing that and quickly explain that it is policy. That transparency would make me want to tip MORE on top of the grat!If this is customary business practice for all, I don’t have to wonder why it’s consistently empty inside.

Place used to be so much better 10 years ago. The quality of food has gone down and the prices have went up. Pizza was paper thin and soggy. Toppings dry and flavorless. You'd be better off ordering from any of the standard pizza joints in the neighborhood.

Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful staff at the bar and friendlyP.s my small mushroom pizza was delicious I ate the whole pizza? my alcohol honey drank had a wonderful sweet taste with a kick ?
