This is a great venue for live music. I caught Kenn Kweder doing a 3 hour gig. He was engaging as ever.

The venue is very nice. The cook needs too learn how too cook fried foods. He needs too make sure that the fryer oil is hot enough before he starts frying food. My fried pickles were an oil slick. They also used a bread and butter sweet pickle which is the wrong kind of pickles for a fried pickel. Parking at this venue is also a mess. I parked right across the street and paid the money too the kiosk and still recieved ad $36 parking ticket when I still had an hour left on the meter.
This bar I came to randomly. I had the best experience. Laurie was such a great bartender- came for one drink lasted hours cause we couldn’t stop laughing - Definitely recommend DOBBS ON SOUTH - we’re from NYC and had a great time
