Coming from Los Angeles this place is A-1! Great food and heavy portion size. The food is really good and I will return anytime I am here in Philly. If your looking for good Jamaican food and at a great price. This is the place to be.
I didn't even get to taste the food. Hours say the open at 11. Got there around 11:45 and they aren't open. I called a few times and no answer. I waited a few more minutes and still nothing. They finally answered the phone and I asked when will the open. The guy says I don't know, between 12 and 1. I can't tell you an exact time...seriously????? How.do you run a business that way. After that I hung up and went elsewhere. Its apparent they didn't want the business and I can spend my money elsewhere which I did
Always a delight, always good food, always a pleasant experience, the owners to the customers everyone is amazing. People actually talk to one another while in the store. The fried whiting, the jerk chicken, peas and rice, yams and so much more....GREAT FOOD! My kids love the fish and the amount you receive is enough for later or tomorrow's dinner. I have been eating from here for 10 or more years now and always a nice place to go. 10 thumbs up for this Jamaican Food Restaurant and Hospitality.
I've been going to Dezzys for years. Best authentic Jamaican food around. Call and place your order then call back to see if it's done. Neighborhood is extremely dangerous and sketchy better to run in pick up your food and get out of there asap
I work across the street and lucky for to be so close to a delicious restaurant. I think ive eaten everything on the menu by now and I am never disappointed. My favorite is the curry goat, everything taste authentic
I reached out to place a catering order for my company. It was scheduled to pick up today at 11:30 am. After following up on the status of the order was told they were missing an item and needed more time. The lack of follow-up has impacted a scheduled event and left me scrambling last minute to place a last-minute order with another restaurant.
This is by far one of my best place to buy Jamaican fried chicken. The food is well done and the portions are more than enough.Great fast and friendly service. Thanks to the crew for always being professional and ready to help.

It's a once and done for me, everyone at the job hyped it up. But for my taste buds, I've had better. Same price as any others, so that's fair. Mac and cheese are over cooked noodles, jerk chicken was so/so, rice and peas was the best part. So try at ur own risk meaning $$?
