This place is fantastic! I travel alone quite a bit and am a female just to give you my demographics. So many places ignore women dining alone, but not here!! I received the best service from Laura and great food recommendations! The food was amazing, but the service I received was some of the best I had ever had! I highly recommend and when back in Philly, will go to again and on top of great food, hope Laura is still working there!!

Absolutely amazing place! Amazing customer service, very friendly and amazing food! 10/10 recommend!!!!

Love the outside seating! excellent staff!

I dined here on a slow afternoon and received my food promptly. We had to ask for bread which my friend eats. The biscuits were flavorful and quite imaginative. So, my entree was the salmon with asparagus and broiled potato wedges. I was immediately disappointed by the portion sizes of everything on the plate. The salmon piece was light and delicate and piping hot. The few sprigs of asparagus were tender and lightly seasoned. The potato wedges were borderline unacceptable in that they were charred to black crunchy bitterness on the edges. For the price, this was not a good value. Thankfully, I ate at another restaurant that has a couple of Philly locations. I ate at the one “on the square” and received a larger piece of salmon for less. So a break- even on the seafood experience. This place has the nerve to flood my email with promos and such. I won’t be back. Unsubscribe me.

I've dined at this restaurant few years ago and I have to say it was much better back then. The quality of the service has considerably worsened. We have ordered starters and main course but everything came at the same time. The wine was warm. The shrimp cocktail was ok but the lobster tale was extremely small. Hope it will go back to the original glory bacause right now is not ok.

Delicious food can't forget the biscuits with whipped maple butter. The drinks were tasty and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit.

My fiancé and I went for lunch today May 14, 2022 at this restaurant. It was our first time here. I simply chose this spot because I was hoping for some great scallops. My fiancé ordered oysters, 18 oz Ribeye, asparagus, lobster Mac n Cheese and a Dirty Martini. I ordered scallops, parmesan-herb Yukon potatoes, Mac n Cheese, a Watermelon Margarita and yuengling. We rated this restaurant a strong three. My fiancé and I, liked the bread our server brought out before our food arrived the most. My fiancé enjoyed the oysters as well. The Yukon potatoes were well seasoned and delicious. However, every thing else was just ok. The steak was wonderfully seasoned, yet had alot of fat and looked more like a 12 oz rather than a 18 oz. The scallops tasted a bit rubbery was over cooked with very little to no seasoning. The Mac n Cheese was bland. Our server Darrian was wonderful. The ambience was great. We will probably not be eating here again.

My husband surprised me with a birthday dinner..seated 20 min earlier than our reservation (8pm). The place was not crowded. Our server (?) was quick to our table and each time after. Ordered drinks, then the lobster roll for an app- they were DELICIOUS, i didn’t notice the paprika on the fries. My husband had the shellfish cioppino - it had a “kick”, he enjoyed it and was very filling. I had the scallops with fries and lemon asparagus risotto..scallops were small and taste was not as expected. Needed more outside bite and cooked a little more. The favorite part of my meal was the risotto. Overall Presentation -meh; portion - meh, price- over priced. I would’ve been happy with a double order of the lobster rolls and the risotto.

First; our waitresses was AWESOME. She was congenial, knowledgeable, and on point! Her service made the difference in our experience. As far as the restaurant; it was as good as its reputation. Upscale seafood house. Traditional, classic decor. Quiet, low key atmosphere, but not stuffy or snooty. Lots of booths (I love booths). Very professional staff. And the food was EXCELLENT. From the salad to the desert, it was all delicious. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!

Really lovely place! The firecracker cauliflower is absolutely a must have. The lump crab cakes are soft, and there's a mango tartar sauce that's amazing. I wouldn't have thought to put mango in tartar sauce, but somehow it works very well. The fried calamari is okay but not the best. However, it's a quite a large portion. The drinks pictured are the blood orange spritz and espresso martini, both very good as well. Overall, a great place.
