This is now the third time this summer you guys were open when I left my house according to Instagram and by the time I walked over you were closed already (BTW it’s 7:30 now). This is no way to run a business with hours like that that change on the spot. One of the first rules for a small business is to have standard hours. You lost one local customer and I can’t imagine I am the only one!! Good luck!!Signed,Walking to Jimmy’s
I really appreciate the friendly service, he was listening to music and singing along while preparing our order and it was nice to see someone just making the best of their day. The Cinnamon Sugar Donut is my favorite the donuts were fresh and the ice cream milky. My daughter loved the Love ya to Reese’s. My son really enjoy his vanilla with rainbow sprinkles.
Lovely first experience at D’Emilios. We got a sundae and a gelati to get the full experience. The owner was friendly and passionate about the menu. We loved how fresh the water ice was and the custard was rich and smooth without an overbearingly sweet aftertaste. Highly recommend.
Potentially my favorite place in Philly. I LOVE D’Emilios as a place to get a special treat. It is definitely expensive, but once you see how much love and labor is put into everything you understand why. I’ve never seen anyone put as much pride into their work as this man does. On top of all that, everything is delicious. Soft serve is amazing, sundaes are as yummy as they look on Instagram, and the water ice flavors are incredible as well as very unique. Recently got a pink grapefruit gelati with sprinkles which was to die for.
The water ice is rivaled only by their delicious soft serve! Love this place! The water ice has such a wonderful natural flavor and the soft serve is some of the best I’ve ever had! I love that they partner with local businesses to incorporate treats into their sundaes. This is always a must visit when friends come to visit Philly!
D’Emilio’s is absolutely worth the trip, and I say that because I make the trek from Atlantic City. I love this place! The owner is wonderful, the ice is the best in town (Birch beer is the best, hands down), and it’s such a pleasant experience. Thanks for the kindness always- been visiting since the start of the pandemic and I always leave happy.
Looks amazing on Instagram and I had it on my list of places to check out. It was so unbelievably disappointing. I got the pretzel Sunday, which was almost $11. I received mediocre vanilla soft serve with hugely inedible pieces of hard pretzel. The were honestly comically large for I’ve cream topping. The second time I went I have the Pooh bear. Which again was just insanely expensive soft serve with almost 0 toppings. I recommend just hitting up a local water ice spot.
Such a sweet place right on Passyunk and right off the Snyder stop on the BSL. Absolutely love that they have been pairing with local bakeries like Second Daughter’s with their incredible brownies and Isgro’s cannolis. Honestly the sundaes are out of this world! They are pretty big and great to share. Can’t wait to see what bakery they pair with next for a sundae collab.
Best Sundaes! So yummy!
