Our kids got us takeout from Deke’s and everything was excellent. Ribs were saucy and tender. Chicken was smoky and moist. Shells and cheese was deadly but wonderful. Even the corn muffins were great. Decent prices too.
Wasn’t as satisfying as I thought it would be, IMO it’s not worth the price. The sandwich bun tasted stale to me.. just a dry sandwich. The meat was tender and seasoned well.
i ordered the pork sandwich platter, and was extremely satisfied with it! had plenty of bbq sauce, which was more flavorful and distinct than your average kind. the potato wedges were seasoned beautifully and had a nice little kick to them. will definitely return here!
This review is solely based on instore order and carryout. Ordered 2 sandwiches & im waiting inside for a long period of time, looking for a friend that I was picking up. As I go to look out the door the cashier comments "we aren't making your food unless you pay, bc we don't want to waste food that isn't going to be picked up" they also inquired if I was inside to order or just to stay warm. Quite rude of them to assume and blatantly suggest that I wasn't a paying customer. All of this caught me off guard and definitely changed my mind about being a repeat customer. Please take this as constructive criticism regarding customer service
The ribs tasted old and the chicken was bloody. Potato wedges were ok. Big disappointment. Gave a two star only because the staff was nice.
Order a slab and call it a day. Tender, juicy meat and the hot sauce for the ribs adds just the right touch of heat without being too aggressive. I'll be ordering again many times.
Amazing BBQ! Got the food truck at the Citylight Fall Fest at Gorgas park. Was perfect BBQ for a fall day.
I went there to try their food, and I really enjoyed the brisket & seasoned wedges. The Dekes Roadhouse Restuarant on 137 Berkley St, food was a serious disappointment. I'm definitely going back to Deke's Carry Out & Catering at 4901Ridge Ave. Their food is so flavorful!
Beef Brisket or the BarBQue chicken is delicious.. I was to into the food to take a picture prior. A must attend
Delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered through Grubhub and the food came quickly and was still warm :)
