An interesting but not authentic Sichuan restaurant. It’s great that most things on their menu can be made gluten free, but flavors were just off. The sesame noodles had more minced garlic than sesame, and the Sichuan farmers dry pot lamb was swimming in a sweet and spicy sauce.Service was decent but the waitress had to keep running up and down the stairs which seemed rough.

Cooked to perfection, we ate so many different dishes and appetizers. We got:-pork belly burgers-scallion pancakes-spring rolls-dandan vegetarisn noodles-Dandan beef noodles-spicy cucumbersEntrees:-twice cooked chicken-human tofu-garlic sauce chicken-beef with leeks-sweet and sour rib eye potWe will continue to come back here. Every thing was so authentic! We got wine, gin and tonics, Malbec margaritas!

Wanted some flavor kicking Chinese and ordered DanDan. The noodles were a bit dry but I loved the Dry pepper dish with chicken. Great flavor balance and not too shy with the heat.

We came at 7pm on a Sunday and they were able to seat us right away either at the bar or outside. We sat at the bar, menus were via QR code.We went with Dumplings in Chili Oil for our app, great dumplings and very spicy chili oil!We got the Dan Dan Noodles and Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup to share. the Dan Dan Noodles were spicy with a sesame sauce mixed in, delicious! Beef noodle soup was great too, delicious broth. We would definitely come back again to try other things on the menu!

Truly the best Chinese and Taiwanese good I've had since my childhood, and everything I had was gluten free. Wonderful service and a modern, clean space. So, so good.

Food was delicious and flavorful. Can customize the spiciness according to your taste. The place was almost packed on a weekday. So would recommend booking ahead if possible.Very warm and cozy atmosphere. The servers took care of us well and were friendly. The service was also fast. Would definitely recommend.

As a Taiwanese, all the dishes are excellent except the noodles. My favorites are three cup chicken, Taiwanese sausage fried rice and Kung Pao chicken.

Dan Dan is a definite step up from your local Chinese takeout. Excellent sauces, with cleaner, lighter preparations. Particularly recommend the string beans. Note that we were takeout customers, so I can't comment on the eat-in experience.

Food is not worth it for the price. Chili Dumplings were extremely disappointing, maybe 1 inch of meat, not even 1 inch maybe. Chili wonton had more meat but the Chili oil is still overused and abused and not flavorful in every dish I had there. We really wanted lo mein and they didn't have any lo mein available on this past Sunday when we went. Pretty disappointed by the food. Even the mapo tofu was not flavorful enough although it looked pleasant. Everything was drenched in chili oil. Seating upstairs is uncomfortable and also our waiter didn't know anything about the menu. We asked questions about what was the most popular thing on the menu and he said he "hopes so." I wouldn't come here again to be honest. I think they're trying to copy szchuan style food with the Chili oil but honestly failed pretty hard with it. I'm definitely going to stick with chili Szechuan in university city next time. Chicken dumplings were good but the pictures show more it isn't consistent with how many they gave us.

Not impressed in any way, shape, or form. Ordered the string beans. Soft and overcooked for my tastes. And the top half of the white rice was even mushier than the string beans, and had like a dark brown dry spot on it. Threw that part of the rice away.A fair price for this dish would be $8.50 and $12 at absolute most. Yet I paid $16.15. $16.15 for a large serving of overcooked string beans. No thanks. Not again. The staff though was SUPER DUPER NICE. I would give them 6 stars out of 5, but I give my food with the outlandish pricing 1 star. Some reading this might say that I should try some of their other offerings before I lock in my 1 star rating. To that, I simply say (again): $16.15 for a large serving of overcooked strong beans and mushy rice? No thanks.PS: Maybe I will reconsider at some future time, and perhaps even bump up my review, but I highly doubt it.
