First time there Sunday after Auto Show My friends reserved a table for 10. It was ready and had a sign on it stating reserved for our group with their photo from their last visit. I was so impressed with that thoughtfulness and the fact the owners remembered the customers. The food was fresh, tasty and expediently prepared and serve d. My grandson, who is grown, said it was the best lasagna he'd ever eaten. His only regret was he didn't order a large.
A little bit overpriced for Italian food, but very good. The fresh pasta is basically perfect, and there's a lot of cool choices on the menu. The mezzemaniche alla genovese was the perfect comfort food. I don't love that toppings cost a lot extra though. And might as well put some more pasta in the "regular" size dishes, flour isn't expensive
Fantastic pasta! I got the pesto dish and it was a bit odd at first how purred the pesto was but that didn't matter at all because it tasted Fantastic! Even the regular pasta dish was more than enough i am sure the large is enough for 2-3 meals which is great if you are lazy to cook. Props to the chef! Will be back soon :)
After not being in philly for months due to covid, i was really glad to come back and see this gem of a place had survived!! When i worked in the city, i came here often for a quick meal. it's def meant for something quick or intimate with its limited seating but the fresh made pastas are so so good. i usually always get the pesto sauce with nuts and basil on top. there's a couple different pasta and sauce options and pretty vegetarian friendly!!
Love this place! The owner is from Italy and he has an amazing story. Incredible food. Highly recommend.
Incredibly nice owner and staff. We had a hard time finding a place to fit 14 runners for carbo-loading during the Marathon weekend. After learning about our situation, Dani, the owner, borrowed the space from the next door cafe to accommodate us.Also, very importantly, the food was amazing, and the ambience was fantastic. Can't find a better place to enjoy authentic Italian pasta. If you are looking for a place that is run by kindness and in the meantime offers great food. This is the place.
Food and service are ??? the owners are authentic Italian, it's BYOB so if you want a glass of wine with your food, don't forget to take it. Food is very tasty and fresh.. pasta made in house‼️
Cute pasta spot with friendly staff. Was greeted by a staff member who inquired if we had been there before and then instructed us to use the machine to place our order.Using the machine was very easy. I wish there was a description next to each past dish for those who are not that familiar with the different pasta sauces. I had to google each one to get a better idea of what I would be getting. I also wish there was more options to select from like, protein options, and other garnishments for the dishes. The set-up is very similar to honey grow. They prepare the food right in front of you. You have the option of getting a to-go order or dining in, which is what we decided to do. One of their staff members came and gave us cups of water as we waited. It wasn’t too long before we received our meals. The Cacio e Pepe was really good (I also favor Alfredo sauce). It’s just cheese and pepper but very strong cheese. Good nonetheless. The pasta could’ve been cooked a bit longer for my liking, very à la dente.
They make the pasta right in front of you, and the lasagna is the perfect mix of creamy cheese and fresh pasta. If you're in Philly and you don't go here, you're missing something real special.
pasta was great, reasonably priced, and ready quickly. they have a wawa styled ordering process from a tablet in front the chefs. would recommend for a quick bite to anyone looking for fresh and tasty pasta
