Great little sweet shop in South Philly. I got a baguette and some creme brulee and both were great. I'll definitely be back to try more baked goods.
Language barrier with the staff so they always miss a step with my orders. Unprofessional I placed an order mentioned that I will be paying in store at pick up time ; they agreed. I went to pick up my cake when they tell me they have not made it. It was a birthday ! Drove for nothing , Poor service .
Spicy hot chocolate. Yum. Real hot chocolate (with a twist), not made with the cheap powdered packets a lot cafes serve. I might try their chai latte. I’m willing to bet it won’t be the sugar-heavy-watered-down-from-a-carton variety. Will update later. So clean, you notice it. The pastries look like artwork. Wish I could try, but I’m gluten intolerant.?
the staff is very friendly, the place is small but cozy, the crepes are the best, although they only serve it on weekends.
The service was nice and the person who took my order was very friendly. I ordered a tiramisu, creme brulee, cheesecake, and a green juice. The cheesecake, tiramisu, and the green juice were all very good. However, the creme brulee was bad. It was very runny and it looked like it was curdled. I couldn't eat it because it wasn't appetizing. I included a picture for reference.
Always a treat to eat here. Good food, good company and good staff. Good is French style cuisine and feels a bit like French bistros in the summer. And pastries are pretty good too. Dinner lunch brunch waffles and berries, Cobb salad, and honey dijon Brussels sprouts are some of my favorites. ??
Very friendly and professional service. I order a Chai latte and some additional pastries for the road. The space was small and quaint which was perfect for a small group of friends to gather and catch up.
I love the atmosphere here, most the staff is amazing, I LoVe their always dark roast coffee, cooked veggie sides, and of course the best croissants in philly!
