Was invited to an event to celebrate a friend's birthday.. For $275, she reserved a table for 20 people that included drinks for the table..The reservation was 3pm. We had to wait an 1/2 to be seated.. Another 1/2 for the waitress to take our order.. There's 20 people but the server only had 10 glasses for the included drink.. It's 5pm and still no food. And the restaurant closes at 4pm. The watered down drinks also take about an 1/2 hour to get..Their signature drink, Hennythings, was unavailable because there was no Hennessy.. The dj was good tho.. So if you're looking for a good time come here already fed and wasted.
We came here for Sunday brunch with a large party for a birthday. We were skeptical due to the reviews however we were seated promptly and served the most part excellent food. The food ranged from chicken and waffles, Red snapper, fish and grits, to Rasta pasta. Everything was flavorful and complemented by the accompanying sides. The price per plate was generous. Come prepared to eat!! I will definitely be frequenting this place and would recommend coming back. A complete slam dunk!
I tried this place for the first time just looking for somewhere to eat after my first reservations elsewhere didn’t work out…. horrible the 118 market st location I would not recommend my food was cold . my “stuffed french toast” wasnt stuffed at all it was about 2 strawberries & hardly any cream cheese & cold ! home fries (greasy & cold) chicken & waffles (chicken not done , cold ) my experience just wasn’t great . Then the waiter seemed to be upset because we didn’t have a great experience though we were polite about it . We even asked her to warm the waffles & they were still just warm .
I came here for Brunch with my son and had the chicken and waffles and seafood Mac and cheese.one word. Delicious!!!! I will definitely be back to dine and enjoy the atmosphere!! Thank you @Cray Taste!!!
This place delivers a quality of food you don't expect. The cream spinach is EVERYTHING! I can make a meal out of that and the salmon alone...but I'll get the Alfredo too.?
Went to the 7th Street location and the Chef was very nice. The food was so much and so yummy that I couldn't finish it all. Will definitely be back.
I love supporting black businesses but $20 for two silver dollar sized salmon cakes and a plethora of grits, no eggs and no toast is unacceptable
Cold rainy horrible Friday! Went to The Bourse, disappointed by so many temporarily or permanently closed spots. Googled lunch near us and found Cray Taste just a few blocks away. Dani helped us. And gave us a spot to charge our phone. Service wasn’t speedy but, clearly everything was made to order. Got a salad with jerk shrimp and husband got an AMAZING fish sandwich with fries. Very friendly staff and great music playing. We would definitely go back and highly recommend! Def love in the food and in the room!
Hey just wanted to let you know that the lady who works the front of the restaurant on 7th street is very rude and disrespectful! My food was horrible and I called to make a complaint and she hung up on me. I’m very displeased with the customer service and quality of the food! my eggs were very wet and my French toast was wet and soggy.
This was my first time ever eating here . Based off the good reviews I went for it . I had French toast , whatever special sauce is used doesn’t taste to good it should be on the side like syrup. I also had shrimp and grits , it was hot it looked beautiful but it was awful grits was stiff, I even bit thru some sort of bone on my shrimp , never again
