The food was great but they added a service charge to my bill without telling me. I said 25% without looking at the service charge and feel abused by this restaurant. Food was great. Waitstaff was great. But they tricked me
If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered something simple for lunch. I ordered a Caesar Salad and Clam Chowder. The Caesar Salad tasted like something that’s already packaged in containers that you can buy at the supermarket, not fresh at all and the clam chowder was horrible. Clam chowder was cold with uncooked chopped green bell peppers and onions in it. Maybe their seafood boils good but after that experience, I won’t be going back. I’ll stick with the Seafood place I originally go to. Smh 1st experience there and I will NEVER go back. Definitely overpriced food that I extremely didn’t enjoy.
The Oyster Po Boy was delicious, crispy coating that pleased. The Sweet Potatoe Fries were wet, limpy, soggy. Not your southern grandma's sweet tater fries!
The Oyster Po Boy was very good. Crispy coating on the deep fried oysters. Pass on the soggy limp sweet potatoe fries. Convenient watering hole just down the street from The Met.
My family and I loved every bit of every bite. Good portion of food for the price. Friendly service and I truly enjoyed watching them wishing the customers happy birthday and singing to them. Will be back
Fresh, Quality,Quantity,Seasoned To Perfection. Down Rite Delicious ???
We went here before a show at The Met. We ordered a chicken Po-Boy, Calamari and chicken tender basket. It was a lot of food. The food was good but greasy. I did see a lot of people ordering seafood and it looked good coming out. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. There are not a lot of choices to eat around the immediate vicinity so we were happy to be able to sit down and have a meal.
This place was great and shrimply amazing. The shrimps was huge! The biggest mussels I've seen. The crab was cooked to perfection, where each piece slid out in 1 piece. Chef-kiss for sure. The special was enough for 2 people to split. I had to get a side of rice because I'm Asian and that's what we do. Don't waste any space for sodas or drinks. Get there hungry and leave satisfied full of tasty crustaceans. We got the Du jour sauce in medium spice. Please generously tip these hard working folks making us this delicious experience. Also please be patient. I saw a lot of people tryin to holler and get the servers attention. Oh and if you're goin to The Met, this place is an AFTERS spot, not before. Unless you got some time to spare. Seriously, this place is awesome and we will be back for more.
Food:• Cajun fries??? the only good thing.• Cajun Combo?: We had 6 people table, ordered a large Cajun combo seafood. The seafood supposed to cooked with the sauce. But, you can clearly tell they just cooked the seafoods alone, then tossed the sauce as topping…• Cocktail??????????: I wouldn’t have it even tho it’s free. We started with a blue Hawaii(idk if I named it right). Firstly, the bartender didn’t seem like she wanna work there. I didn’t tasted any alcohol in there, it was room temperature, also there were some black dots in there that we didn’t know what was it… Speechless.Customer service: VERY BAD. The guy served us was rude, every time we said Thank you, he just walked away while any “you are welcome”. He didn’t say any thank you, no greeting at all. Other staffs were just sitting there played on their phone, didn’t even looked at us. The worse customer service ever.Atmosphere: The decorations were good, what else I can say…
02/02/22 purchase a big order today and 8 of the orders the food was under cooked. Called and spoke to the manager/owner and she stated that her husband was the only one cooking the food and the order was to big. If they felt like the order was to big they could have just said that and we could have ordered from else where. Forsure not ordering there anymore.
