I ordered the vegan white pie for takeout and specified I wanted the tofu ricotta & the vegan mozzarella. I got home and noticed there was no vegan mozzarella on the pizza. I called and was told “Oh sorry we’re out of vegan mozzarella.” Imagine a white pizza… with no cheese! There were a few dollops of the tofu ricotta which was extremely bland. On top of that, the pizza crust was as thin as a paper towel. The few toppings on the pizza heavily weighed it down when I picked up a slice. SMH.I asked why no one bothered to contact me and let me know and the person who answered just said “Oh my bad.” I asked for a refund because this wasn’t what I ordered. I was told I’d get a call back tomorrow when the manager is in. Fine. The manager called the next day and told me I’d get a coupon to use on my next visit. I stated I preferred a refund which I told the previous guy who I spoke to the day before. The manager agreed and said “Give it 5-7 business days for the refund to appear.” Cool. Here we are, 3 weeks later to the day, and still no refund. I’m not going to keep calling or showing up for my $15 back because it’s useless at this point. But they’ll never get my money again & I highly suggest the vegan pizza eaters make them confirm they have all ingredients before ordering because they may not even bother to tell you :)

May have just had the best salad of my life at Clarkville Philly

Pizza (Putanesca) was overpriced and flavorless. Waitress took our order and never came back, runners brought the food out. A light cider came in a tulip glass instead of a pint.

We experienced some highs and lows at Clarkville. Quickly seated, but neglected for a long while before being approached at our table. Their menu offer some real eclectic varieties of pizzas; vegan options. We chose the Honey Pie and the Deluxe 5 Cheeses. Sadly, HP came out burnt. We were so hungry we ignored the charred crust. Its flavor was so unique it won us over. After waiting a spell, we inquired and learned they forgot our second pie. Fortunately, they hastily produced a perfectly baked pizza that helped us forget everything that went beforehand.

I’d give this a 5/5 for the pizza but the other dishes were disappointing (2/5 max) but -1 star only seeing as pizza is their main thing. I got the Johnny Hots pizza and that was excellent. Great flavors and the crust was perfect to my liking - chewy and fluffy! The peppers were actually spicy (yay) and the pork was good too. I also got the hot chicken salad and that was pretty bad. Way too much dressing, very very greasy chicken, and absolutely NO spiciness. I’d go back for the pizza, for sure, but don’t get the hot chicken! My friends got the hot chicken sandwich and the sriracha honey pizza and they loved the pizza and said that the sandwich was ‘good.’

Solid pizza place with pies that aren’t your standard pep/cheese fare. I’d highly recommend you go here if you’re adventurous with your pizza toppings and want to try something delicious and unconventional.

Great dine-in spot, but good luck ever calling and not getting "LINE BUSY". They also just close the restaurant at random hours on GrubHub and Caviar. Pickup and delivery must not be important.Guess I'm calling Colonial again...

Always delicious, and they have some very interesting pizzas of the day at times. The 5 cheese supreme and the honey pizza are phenomenal, and when ordering pickup they always have the pizza ready on time. Can’t wait to dine in sometime.

My group got one white pie, one loaded veggie pizza (regular cheese not vegan). Overall flavor profiles and crust texture were good, only minor complaints about the toppings. The white pie could have used more mushroom - I think there was only one piece of mushroom per slice. The loaded veggie was a little too greasy, possibly residual oil from pre-roasted eggplant, peppers, and broccoli rabe.Reasonable prices and portion sizes. 2 pizzas comfortably feeds 5 people.

I'm a simple guy. Just looking for a simple pizza with some meat and cheese. Sadly their menu tries to get too creative and failed to have a single pizza that sounded good. Left without even ordering because they fail to even offer the option to create your own.
