So today was the day we celebrated my mother-in-laws death date and we went to Chili’s to celebrate because that was her favorite place to go. When we arrived to Chili’s we was greeted by some of the most unprofessional hostess, once we told them we had a part of 11 the girl said “oh well, you gotta wait a hour and thirty minutes” then while waiting the hostess continued to call out to multiple waitresses walking pass asking if they wanted party of 11 while laughing as we are a joke, one of the waitresses said no and the other one didn’t respond at all. While sitting and waiting we watched several areas open up where there was room to sit down and eat. During this already sad day we had to go to Chili’s and get treated like our service was wanted. Now of course we could have got rude but they would’ve just called the cops and made seem like we were the problem so we decided to right a review, this is the Chili’s on Oregon Ave in South Philly.
Awful awful awful.Group of five- we called ahead and asked how long the wait was since you can’t make reservations here. There are two small seated waiting areas- both filled so we had to stand in front of the doors. We were finally seated and quickly realized that the night was going to be long. Everything took forever— placing an order, getting our drinks (literally water and lemonade), getting napkins, etc. I would say “yeah it’s covid times” but this Chili’s has been this way forever, I don’t know why we keep trying to go back. It’s horrible. All of the entrees came out at different times. Wrong sides that took a while to correct. Just everything. WAITERS ARE NOT FRIENDLY OR PLEASANT AT ALL. Patrons never look happy. This place literally is the epitome of a sad face. The chips are always dripping in oil, the chicken tenders took the longest to come out but was undercooked. I can go on and on. I wish it was better since it is so convenient to us but we won’t be here again for a long, long, time. Shut this place down ASAP and put something better there.
Probably the worst chilis I’ve ever been to. I ordered a lunch special and the host told me it would only take 10 mins cause I’m on my lunch break from work.. instead it took almost a half hour for a boneless lunch combo not to mention they did not give me fries and only two very little skimpy pieces of celery.. I went back for the fries and the host seemed annoyed to give the fries that are suppose to come with my lunch combo.. she had a poor attitude. I wont be coming back to this location.
I had a good time at chilli's my favorite place to eat I haven't been since the pandemic but definitely everything is getting back to normal my waiter was so nice ?? I will be back soon
I work there and found dead roaches in steak and beef. The managers are unprofessional. The store is understaffed. That store is heading down hill fast. Pay attention to your food. It could be a bug or hair in it ?
I truly love, and appreciate how you guys hide reviews that are negative but the reviews that aren’t so negative you guys leave up there was hair in my food and I think everyone should know this Extremely unsanitary establishment, to say the least, despite the pandemic.
I highly recommend dining here, if so, “PLEASE” ask for “Shymire” he is very (PROFESSIONAL) you don’t even have to ask for anything, it is like he is reading your mind, brought out refills without even asking, brought out more napkins without asking, all in all the visit was “WORTH” it!!! Check them OUT!!!
The worse service ever! Beth never got are drinks from the bar after waiting an hour still thirsty. Manager with short hair didn't even care when I express my issues. Apps were cold, God bless the (minor)host that was really trying. We walked out hungry on 12.30.21. We all know shortage in staffing but nobody gonna wait 1.5- 2hrs for service
Customer service is trash our waitress looked miserable wasnt friendly everytime we asked for something it was a problem,cause she took 5 to 10 mins to bring refills to bring containers and bags. I tipped her anyway but not as much as i COULD OF, smh. The drinks taste nasty fruit punch, raspberry lemonade, cola all watered down. The garlic butter on the steak is salty af.The appetizers are delicious boneless wings nachos and crisper. Appetizers came out slow but the entree came out fast.
This is my second time ordering from them and both times they messed up my order and didn't give me all of my food. I ordered cheese fries with my burger and some chips and salsa. And they didn't get anything right. My lunch break is only a half-hour so I didn't have the time to run back. Never again, I already gave y'all two tries.
