I am 81 y.o. and the reason we went to C&P was because my mom and dad met there in 1938. I was born in 1940. I just wanted to see what the place was like where they met. Your place is really nice. It's clean and Shiney for being so old. The waitress was professional and our salads yummy. It's nice that you took over Walt's Cafe back in 1977. I live in NJ and have been to 5 Chickie's and Pete's. My favorite is in S. Philly.
I had the charbroiled oysters and the crab cakes were not good at all the blue cheese burger was delish as well.
Great evening out , took kids to eat and they wanted crab fries, we had order a 2nd one ha . But great food and service was fast .
I ORDERED 2 DOZEN SHRIMP AND WAITED AT THE DOOR I WAS TOLD 20MINS /KNO1 WOULD COME BACK TO DOOR THEY WOULDN'T EVEN ANSWER PHONE OR DOOR AFTER I PLACED MY ORDER WAITED OUT FRONT OF BUSSINESS FOR 40MINS /THEN IT WAS 10:30PM KNO1 WOULD ANSWER SERV OR BRINGMY FOOD BUT THERE WAS PEOPLE INSIDE/I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO CHICKIE N PETES ESTABLISHMENT:I FEEL VERY DISRESPECTED
I am editing this review the 1 star was a typo...I came all the way from Alabama for this place....I love this place! Sorry for the mixed up review! Will be there again before heading back down south!
It was fun the food was very good
I ordered couple times through door dash. Food was very good, I was given the wrong order once I ordered the boneless wings got bone in wings. Kitchen manager Geno resolved the issue fairly and kindly. Thanks for the good food
I got take-out, wings & crab fries. Wings are my favorite. Not breaded and I could drink the sauce! My kid wolfs down their crab-fries.The staff is always the best!
They honored me well for my service to my country. I had an awesome brunch
Ridiculous!!! I will never come back to this location!! Put a bad taste in my mouth!!! I frequent this establishment a lot in Jersey down in Glassboro but let me tell you this place was just simply horrible I ordered a lobster Philly cheesesteak with barely any lobster on it my girlfriend ordered a burger with there There’s signature fries so I’m a just say my my food came out my girlfriends food and I’ll come out I finish my food and still no food! Once i asked for the check they came out with a frozen cold burger talking about I’m sorry for the delay meanwhile nobody was inside when my girlfriend told the manager it takes 45 minutes to cook a burger he said no it only takes 20mins do what happen he said I don’t know!! I just paid n left will never come back
