Very delicious late night meal! I went after Ledisi and The Philadelphia Orchestra at the Mann. I didn't want the overpriced food at the Mann so we found here. The wait was too long and the customer service can be a tad bit better but I understand it was near closing and maybe the staff was drained. I saw that they stay busy because the food is so fantastic. Great packaging of the meal and I like their brand of juice.
I been to chick a boom many times before always bang I usually go at night time but this time I went in the afternoon I got Thai chilli combo no sauce and coleslaw. They have new box’s now to only got a few fries and instead of a chicken breast I got chicken tenders. Always good just for 18 I need more fries lol
Trust me this is honest criticism. I have been here on three separate occasions. The first time I was blown away, I couldn't wait to eat another sandwich. The second time I was underwhelmed. I just figured maybe it was a bad day. The last time was indeed my last time. Not only did the price go up $$$ but the food and service went down. My sandwich was messy. The roll was cold. Who serves a freshly made chicken ? sandwich on a cold roll. I mean it was not even room temperature. The packaging ? was nice but what I found inside made insides turn. At this point I realized this was it for me. Sorry Chick a boom. Going back to Popyes.
After going through drive-thru had to wait an extra 15 minutes in the parking lot. The chicken in my opinion is just okay. But the prices are top-notch( ridiculous) 13$for three strips?. I will not be going back. Should have stuck with my KFC.
For the price you pay! The food is pretty bland, i am not sure if it was a bad day. But the food had no seasonings and the fries were tasteless. Almost like air. 20 dollars for a combo meal
I ordered from their lunch truck on a Friday around noon. There wasn't a wait and after looking online at the menu, I was able to figure out what I wanted like a normal person should.I was eyeing the honey and parm chicken sandwich and what better way to make it a meal than with crinkle cut fries. The sandwich was very tasty and the honey with the parm sent it over the top.I love garlic fries. The crinkle cut is perfect for them. While I'm not about having business owners change their menu, but could we possibly have minced garlic and shredded parm as a topping option for the fries? Places that serve garlic fries in this fashion never seem to get the fries right. The rigidity of the fry allows the garlic and parm to hold onto the fry as it launches completely into my mouth where salivating juices prepare to breakdown every ounce of deliciousness ?They also can their own drinks. Check them out!
The sauce was good, the price was good, but the wings are waaaaaaay too salty for my taste. INSTANT blood pressure headache! Could only eat three of my ten piece bowl. Oh yeah... I have another nice plastic bowl and lid now. Lol!
A little (lot) too salty for my taste. I got a ten piece with some sort of Asian chili sauce and chives and couldn't eat more than four pieces because the salt content was so high. It's a shame, because the chicken and sauce looked and smelled delicious! I hear other people talk about how good their chicken is, so maybe I just came on a bad day. (Not going to attempt it again, though. Once bitten...)
10/10 y’all don’t hesitate, This my 3rd time visiting when I tell y’all they never fail! I got the mango habenero chicken sandwich.
This is one of my favorite chicken places in Philly. Wow. I LOVE fried chicken sandwiches and this place does it like no other. The chicken is perfectly juicy and the sandwiches are SAUCY, just like how I like em. Honestly the quanity and quality is amazing for the price. The building itself is quite unimpressive because it is right next to a gas station but this place has the most bangin chicken sandwiches in this whole city. The guy working at the window was also really nice too, great customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend this spot. It is also totally worth the 0.50$ for extra boom boom sauce. I am salavating thinking about it.
