I love this dimly lit bar I love the lights. The food and drinks are pretty good. Some nights the drinks are better than others. I frequent this bar for the last few years. I actually haven’t been back in a while since they have a restriction of vaccination since COVID-19 so I don’t know if I’ll be returning in the future. I hope they change this because I do miss coming.
So fire..Service was excellent; we arrived after 10:30pm and they close at midnight. Kitchen was still open and servers had zero attitude. We were greeted with a smile and promptly served. I requested shrimp quesadilla; it’s not on the menu but they made that for me anyways, no problem. My friend had steak quesadilla and enjoyed his meal. My shrimp quesadilla was delicious. I also had frozen mango margarita that was made well. Would definitely go back and recommend to others!
Easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in Philly! My boyfriend and I love coming here for a late night meal. Everything on the menu is amazing but our favorites are the seitan wings, the fajitas, the wet burrito, and the nachos. Also, the margaritas are great & come in plenty of different flavors. This place is great for date night or for a big group of people. (They also have outdoor dining). The final cherry on top is how nice and accommodating the employees are. Ya can’t go wrong!
Visited during the night market. About 45min wait, but it was all good. Seating outside while we waited for our table. Empanadas and Margs were served outside. That ➕️ good convo with friends and strangers made it a good time. What wait? LolOnce seated, we waited a bit for our server before we ordered apps. Super busy that night. Once apps and food arrived, the night was still young strong. Music was popping and the vibes were right. Just what the world needed that night at this gut wrenching time of hurt and lost?Definitely looking forward to going back for those yummy nachos and $5 margs!!!
My favorite Mexican spot in North Philly “northern liberties”. I literally went back here 3x in one weekend: dinner, lunch pick up, and brunch. I got the chimichanga each time and it never disappointed. I also love that they have many vegan options and build your own. Definitely recommend this spot.
We came on a Friday night and ordered chips & salsa, shrimp nachos, chicken fajitas & crab tostadas! Food was a 7! Drinks were strong & yummy! The hostess was amazing, but the waiter was just ok. Considering the numerous other options in the area we may not be back...nothing extraordinary.
Overrated. Food is not that good. I’m not sure why this place has so many good reviews…it’s not good food or good authentic Mexican food. Plus super overpriced. The tacos were super dry, plain, and gross. Tasteless. they also forgot the green sauce on the side ? PS - my friend is Mexican so you can’t play me with the food. Do betterr
We came here after a place down the street had a 2 hour wait. We were seated immediately. My friend ordered tacos and corn on the cob. She loooooved it; I was there for a good margarita and vibes. I had carrot cake. I ordered a margarita and it was WEAK! (That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars). Margarita did absolutely nothing to me. Server was nice.
Waited for service at another restaurant for over 25 minutes and decided to come here. Best decision ever. Our server was welcoming and personal without being overbearing. Plus the food and drinks were amazing. Will be coming back
