The best place in Philadelphia, this place represents culture, female and Latin empowerment, it is not a big restaurant, but the quality, friendliness, and professionalism are more than enough. The food is completely delicious, whatever your choice, you will love it, especially if you are like me, who does not know much about these foods, you will be amazed that no matter what you choose, you will enjoy it a lot, Cafe Tinto, thank you for making me happy!
I called to make a delivery order from Center City and because of the order they were able to deliver to my office. Food was amazing. Los Buñuelos and pan de queso are the best I’ve had in Philadelphia. The calentao was delicious, almost as good as my mother’s lol. The chicharrón ai asked for it extra crispy and they delivered. The morcilla was soo good too. Everything was amazing! Delivery was fairly quick and super nice. Definitely a must if you’re Philadelphia and need or want a Colombian fix.
We had the best catering experience with Cafe Tinto, not only how fast they responded to my questions but how easy was the process and how delicious the food was. Cafe Tinto was very punctual, set up the catering and provided us with an awesome diversity of Colombian pastries and food. We had a huge outdoor celebration revolving around the theme of the Encanto movie and needed 150 Arepas de quesa Colombiana delivered. Giselle and Daniella couldn't have been kinder, and the arepas were delicious...a huge hit! This was the first time most of us ate arepas, but for sure not the last. I look forward to going to the shop to try other delicacies. Thanks to everyone at Cafe Tinto.

Ordered at 12 pm on a Saturday and although the place was very busy I was still able to get my food and juice within 10 minutes which isn't bad.I ordered mango juice with water which was very, very fresh it left me craving it for hours after.Chicharron platter (had plantano, chicharron, rice and beans and fried egg(yolk not cooked). I found that the chicharron was very heavy, and could be better if the fat was rendered more and if it was consistently crispy for each pieceChicken empanadas (I love the casing they used and the filling was great, the aji verde is very liquidy which helped get to the bottom of the empanadas.Arepas (really fresh) very well rounded.Total was about $40.Will be coming back for more for sure.
