This was my first time here with The Golden Girls.The tea was very good. Thank you.I was surprised that the food was warm and not hot. I guess you use take out containers all the time?Cornbread was good. We waited an hour for our food. So the group was ready to go when the food came. The employees were very courteous.I ordered the smothered pork chop, rice and gravy, yams, Cornbread and banana pudding.Much success with your restaurant.Juanita Nassardeen
My beef short ribs had a lot of fat!!!! My greens were salty and greasy and they gave my terrible indigestion!! He forgot our corn bread!! The chicken wing and breast were fried with BBQ sauce not actual BBQ chicken. The cabbage was uncooked and spicy, the Mac & cheese was nasty!!! The only good items are lemon cake and candied yams.I would not recommend this soul restaurant!!!! The cook complained he was alone all the time. The back kitchen looked dirty!!!!!I have terrible indigestion and very unsatisfied!!!!
I recently got food poisoning from this restaurant, I believe the ribs weren’t fully cooked. As soon as I got finished eating the food I felt I painful pit in my stomach. I’ve been under the weather since with fevers & stomach aches.
Really nice young man. Very skilled in cooking. Greens were salty and I wanted baked barbecue chicken but it was fried. Barbecue sauce was delicious, Yams were delicious too. Try it. Every one doesn't make food the way everyone likes it but I'm sure 90% of his customers are satisfied. I like his personality and work ethic. God bless him and his endeavors

I googled this restaurant and read the reviews and decided this would be Sunday's dinner.I am pleased with my choice. I ordered the smothered Turkey wings, Mac and cheese, and cabbage. My platter was smaller than I anticipated. I didn't even know that these platters came this small. Despite that, it was enough to fill me up (not enough for leftovers like other places but good for one meal). The platter included a small piece of cornbread which was scrumptious.The Turkey wings were just right. For me, Turkey wings are usually dry even with the gravy but these were cooked well. That brown gravy drizzled on top burst with flavor. The Mac and cheese and cabbage were good as well. The cabbage appeared to have greens and carrots mixed in to it which made me enjoy it even more.I plan to try their fried whiting next time and two other sides. (Review also posted on Yelp)
The Service SUCK ! I came in ordered my food and I waited 1.5 hrs and still didn’t eat but I watched a few ppl come in and get there food…. The worst spot to go to if you ain’t cool wit the owner
Food was okay. Food took almost 2 hours to be prepared. The fried shrimp was the best.
The owner Kevin catered my graduation party a week ago and it was great! He was professional, considerate and kind. He came with his own tables, cutlery, and set up that fit the color scheme of my party! My guests loved the food and kept asking who made it. The iced tea and salad were a great touch as well. Highly recommend!
I been a customer since 2007 (14 years) the food is great always , made fresh to order. A variety of Soul Food dishes . You can dine in .
