Bahn mi is one of my favorite foods and I got the vegan tofu. It was fantastic. So glad I finally stopped by!
Around $15 is the average price for a sandwich and coffee in fairmount & the ingredients are definitely quality…. Quality of the coffee & food just doesn’t show up. Can’t justify going here over any other coffee shop in area or even the deli across the street .
Based on other reviews, I had to try this place. I had the Korean BBQ Bahn Mi and an iced matcha latte. This is without a doubt the best Bahn Mi I’ve ever had!!! No exaggeration you gotta try this place. My brother who has never had Bahn Mi and can be a picky eater tried the chicken Bahn Mi and he was hooked! For Bahn mi this place is legit. However the matcha latte was not as good. I don’t know what about it was off but it was not the best. That being said still 5 stars
Good coffee but sandwiches are made with too much egg. Totally falls apart when you try to eat it. Absolutely impossible to eat this like a sandwich. They should serves bowls with their sandwiches
Matcha latte is no good…. they still don’t have indoor dining and there are only 3 tables outside. Pastry is ok
Unfortunately I couldn't buy a coffe because I didn't have a mask, I know I should have one, but in my state is not necessary use masks anymore and I'm also vaccinated, I asked if I could cover my face with my scarf and they just said no. Looks like they doesn't care about customers. Terrible feeling to be on a place like that.
The bahn mi are very good and a whole reason to visit - crispy baguette, pickled veg. The cold brew is good, as is their homemade vietnamese iced coffee. Cafe du Monde makes it both potent and authentic!
Ordered ahead and showed up early. Got yelled at and told it would be 30 mins til I could get my coffee. Wouldn’t have minded waiting but getting yelled for showing up early when I placed my order for ASAP? Completely unnecessary. Asked if I could cancel then since they were rude AF and was told “gladly”. Like, got it dude - You hate your job. Happy Sunday; See ya again never.
Omfg that sandwich was divine. Wanted to take off a star because no bathroom, no wifi, no indoor seating (due to covid so i get it). But couldn't because the service, sandwich, and coffee are exceptional. This place rocks.Update: have been back 4 times. Tried 3 different sandwiches and one repeat. Every one as delicious as the last. ??
I love this place! The cappuccino is great, they always have pastries, and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious! I especially love that they didn't jump on the hipster bandwagon of not offering almond milk anymore. Staff is great and super friendly, too. My favorite coffee/sandwich place in Fairmount! <3
