Everything was amazing! The sales team was so kind to work with, the cake testing was so great and easy. The cake delivery to the wedding was flawless. The design was beautiful and the taste...oh the taste was heavenly!! All our wedding guests raved about how beautiful the cake looked and how delicious the cake was. Just purchased a custom birthday cake and we were so unsatisfied with the decorations. It was unbelievably sloppy with no attention to detail. Here are the issues:1. Poorly written numbers & letters.2. Some of the writing wasn't filled in.3. "Happy Birthday" was written as one long word, and bunched up on one side of the cake. While the last section had way too much space.4. Visible air bubbles under the M in the middle of the cake.5. The lines were uneven and not spaced out correctly.Based on the designs that I viewed on the website, I expected a much better outcome than what we received. This was extremely disappointing and it looks like an amateur used my cake to practice cake decorating. It's really unfortunate that the person who decorated my cake felt comfortable with this as a final product. Bredenbecks should have done better. See pics attached.
I had placed an order for cupcakes needed for a Bridal Shower. I placed my order more than 2 weeks in advance and put a deposit down. The day of pickup my order was not ready and I had to wait an additional 40 mins. When I got home I looked over the cupcakes and could tell it was a rush job with icing the cupcakes. I had asked for coral iced cupcakes with icing shaped like a rose with a green petal. Some of the cupcakes did not have the green petal and the icing job looked sloppy. Very disappointed to have paid quite a bit of money and not get what I had envisioned or asked for
Usually it would be a 5 stars because I love this place but we were sold what tasted like day old cupcakes yesterday (very dry and not fresh). We always say how good this place is to our friends but this was just embarrassing esp. when our friends were visiting from out of town. Sugar cookies were excellent. Everything should be being made fresh the day of- isn't that the point of a local bakery? Hope this doesn't happen again because this place is usually great.
Beautiful place. Clean. Staff in both the ice cream & bakery exceptional service. My family love the Cookies n cream ice cream and the Carrot cake cheesecake slice super delicious. I'm definitely visit again.
I can not say enough amazing things about this place.They have been my go to place for celebration things for the last 4 years when I moved to the area. I look forward to working with them for my upcoming wedding as well. For a quick treat I recommend the lemon raspberry cheesecake slices or donuts but I won’t ever admit to stopping by secretly just to splurge ?
We used Bredenbecks for our wedding cake 2 years ago and decided to use them again for our baby's first birthday for her cake and donuts. Everything was absolutely delicious and the cake was perfect for our donut theme ! We will only ever get occasion cakes from here.
The baked goods are delicious, beautiful, & creative, and the ice cream parlor is wonderful. Today I bought dozens of Fasnachts for friends and they were a huge hit! What is also worth expressing is that the staff is really impressive - friendly, professional, efficient, and welcoming!
I ordered 350 cupcakes for a student event last night and they were all delicious and beautifully decorated. It was a “winter wonderland” theme so I asked for light blue icing and sparkles. Just what I was expecting! Everyone loved them!
