Lovely authentic feel with the decor and the food unfortunately didn't get to try any of the beer as I was on antibiotics at the time but we did try a lovely apple soda and hubby and I had a lovely anniversary dinner and look forward to returning didn't realize they had this outdoor enclosed dining area you can see behind us because by the time we got to this restaurant we were so tired with the lack there of nice dining places on south street we missed it until we were on our way out but I look forward to coming back not just with him but with my bestie at some point too
My god... What a treat. This dinner was fantastic. The waitress was very awesome and helpful. The Hazelnut Schnapps was absolutely incredible .

Got there at lunchtime on a Saturday. Our timing was perfect because shortly after it was crowded. Great, friendly service! Huge beer selection and delicious food. We had potato pancakes for an app (deliciously crunchy) followed by schnitzels (big). So good! Enjoyed everything.
Hands down, the best German restaurant in the Philadelphia area. Quality food, great staff, and the atmosphere takes me back to my travels in Germany. Be sure to check it out!!!

The best place in Philadelphia for sure. Hands down amazing experience. Authentic German food and beers. The staff is friendly and it’s sort of a hidden gem in the city of Philadelphia. The beer collection is great and the food is very authentic. Recommend this place for sure.
