First time at Blume during CCD SIPS, the vibe of the atmosphere was great. The ambiance is very cute and definitely photo worthy. The food options could be hit or miss for some depending on what your taste preferences are. My table ordered flatbreads, wings, side cesar salad, burgers and a ricotta cheese starter with almond and honey served with bread. My recommendations out of this list would be the burgers, flat breads and wings. The salad was on the salty side and the ricotta was just to sweet to pair with bread or the food options we had. The drinks were absolutely delicious with the hibiscus margarita being my favorite. I would definitely go back for more wings and flatbread soon! Shoutout to our waitress Anesha, she was awesome !
Nacho burger super good canât wait to go back ððð
The drinks were ok, the food was bad but the customer service was good. However, the bartender was at the bar throwing coasters around at his coworker and managed to hit me in the head with one. He could have damaged my eye and never offered an apology until I walked over and said something to him.
Cute place. My burger and drink was amazing. Such a fun quaint spot.
It was my birthday, everyone was so friendly, nice and helpful, including the other guest dining there. Conveniently located a block from the Philly Academy of Music where we saw To Kill a Mockingbird. Food was on point, not pretentious, decor captivating. Overall, an amazing experience, will go again and will recommend.
Perfect spot for a friends get together brunch! The ambiance/aesthetic was super cute and the food was delicious! Our waitress was also super attentive and helpful! Highly recommend!
Service was slow and poor. Had to go up three times to the bar to order our drinks, food, and to ask for the check. The server forgot to bring us parts of our meals that we asked for. It was not busy at all and we were waiting for our check for 20 minutes when I decided to go find her, she was laughing at the bar with a co worker. Wonât be back again. I guess you donât have to be a good server or care about your guests when 18% gratuity is already included.
It was amazing the place is beautiful the food was amazing and the service was amazing 10/10 would recommend
I want to preface by saying I had VERY LOW expectations and am really not hard to please. I attended for Sips, so I expected house-drinks and simple appetizers.I sat at the bar with two other friends. The interior design is cute, but I will not be returning. The featured cocktail was so sweet we needed to water it down. The white wine was not drinkable. They were out of a lot of our first choice beer & wine (or it was upstairs and that was too far to retrieve? we're unclear).I ordered the whipped ricotta and a burger from the Sips menu. The consistency of the ricotta was very odd. It tasted more like ground rosemary & butter cream than ricotta. I could only eat one bite. The only saving grace was the burger. It tasted like something you'd find at a snack bar or backyard bbq. Very simple, not chef-driven, but it's a cheeseburger so it hits the spot. This is the reason for 2 stars instead of one. It was literally the only thing I could finish.Because it was the sips menu, I already had pretty low quality expectations, but I expected edible menu items. Also, it smelled nasty in there. The air was stale and damp. Couldn't figure out if it was vomit, rotten beer, or old mop water. Felt like hot breath was blowing from the vents. On top of it all, the service was mediocre and they snuck an auto-gratuity on there. I didn't receive an itemized receipt so I missed it.
This was a nice restaurant. I like where it was located and how it had sidewalk/street seating. The restaurant has a very unique look to it and makes it pop. Our waitress was nice, but the food did take a while to be served along with the appetizers coming out late (after the food). I would still visit again and recommend this restaurant as the food was really good. I had a burger and tater tots.
