This is not the Bleu Sushi I enjoyed for years. The quality and content is nothing like it was over my many visits and deliveries in the past. I was disappointed.
Amazing food, very fresh sushi and the service was incredible.
Prefer to see a paper menu. What if my phone is dead? What if I want to see everything you have on offer?
Food and selection were excellent; very authentic and delicious! However, I was informed by the staff that they do not serve tap water, and only sell bottled. I was positively dumbfounded by this; never in my life have I been to a restaurant in the United States of America that did not offer water for free. If that were an option, I likely would have ordered more food, however not being able to sit comfortably and hydrate on a hot day while eating my meal without spending exorbitant amounts of money on Voss water was a great turnoff to me. Bleu Sushi, you have an INCREDIBLE restaurant here; itâs so rare I find a place that does some actually authentic Japanese dishes. Please fix this. Itâs SO SIMPLE. OFFER FREE TAP WATER. IT ISNT THAT HARD.
Fantastic atmosphere, owner game out and wanted to learn our names and gave us free Sami shots. The sushi is exquisite and intriguing. The menu has a wide variety of sushi choices with very interesting combinations. The apps and soup are great. Prefect for a date night or social gathering with friends.
Sadly, our trip to Bleu Sushi was very disappointing. I’m still lost on the hype. From the beginning, it didn’t go well. To start, yes, this is a BYOB. However, I think it’s a fair assumption that water would have been provided. NOPE. You had to buy a bottle of water instead (they only had VOSS so not inexpensive). We did the 2 signature roll combo which started with miso soup. It came out in these cute bowls until I saw there were 6+ chips on the bowl (I could maybe argue one chip, but serving a customer something that they could have actually nicked themselves on is…confusing). The signature rolls - UArts and Main Street roll - were good, but nothing extra to write home about. They were as you would expect, if anything on the smaller side.We also got the Gyudon which was large and flavorful. Could have had more beef but overall good dish. For all the hype, it was not worth it. Maybe takeout is better? You would think it would be the reverse, but definitely not here.
Great place for sushi! My partner and I went for dinner and got the Ben Franklin and Chestnut Rolls and they were both very delicious.Service was great and I really enjoyed the ambiance. Outdoor seating was available but we ate inside. Prices were reasonable considering everything is going up at the moment. Would recommend!
Very little to say other than this was some of the best sushi I have had in recent months. It really salvaged a not so great food experience in Philly on our last trip. We had a lot of different rolls and the majority was really fresh and tasty.
The sushi was very good and at a reasonable price. We sat outside and the service was good since the restaurant was busy (in person & takeout). We enjoyed our meal and the bottle of wine we brought. If you would like alcohol, please remember it is BYOB. Great casual place for delicious sushi!
Such delicious sushi. Great service and ambiance.
