Incredible cafe! The pastries are wonderful and their iced coconut cream cold brew is the best coffee drink I've ever had. Got the cookie cake for my birthday, HIGHLY recommend. The brownies are exceptional. Great staff and super cute. Love that you can get cheesy vegan sandwiches there. If I lived closer I'd be here every week.
The gluten free pancake sandwich was better than any breakfast sandwich I’ve had before.. AND it’s gluten free! The maple oat latte was delicious. Great spot to work or relax. By far the cutest bathroom in south Philly. Staff is great, keep up the awesome work!
What a find! This is a vegan breakfast place that also has imported (and delicious) gluten free options! I have enjoyed a v/gf pancake breakfast sandwich 2x on our stay. The v cookies and breakfast sandwiches are also delicious from what my hubs says. We’ll make this a stop when we were in Philly! ????❤️
Recently moved to the area and I've been meaning to try this place out. I regret not going sooner. The food was great. A little on the sweet side, but delicious. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. A little pricey, but it's an all vegan cafe, so what can you expect. I'll definitely be going back.
i visited philly for a concert and this was truly my favorite spot. i came here twice on my weekend stay and i was able to meet some of the kindest people. i've never liked coffee but they made me this sweet maple-y cinnamon sugar iced coffee and it was SO good! also, i am obsessed with stuffed animals so the decor had to be the coolest part. i'm allergic to dairy and everything was free from cross-contamination. and the food was TO DIE FOR!!!!! the french toast sandwich was my favorite treat. i can’t wait to come back one day :)
I was in Philly over the weekend and this was our last stop before we left- let me tell you, I wish I knew about this place earlier! I live in an area with not many vegan options and omg I thought I was in heaven the second I walked in! So many options! I bought nearly everything on the menu- I just couldn’t pick! The staff was so friendly and it was an overall fantastic experience. They were so kind to me, they offered a free cupcake because I was from out of town! So, so nice! I wish I lived in Philly so I could go every day!You need to try everything on the menu, the cupcakes and breakfast sammies were amazing ? go visit, you won’t regret it!
John at Batter & Crumbs did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding cake! It was beautiful and he really captured the vision we had and discussed with him, and it was absolutely delicious - we got so many compliments on it, including from many people who couldn’t believe it was vegan! Thanks for such a great job on this part of our special day!
Batter and Crumbs is a gem. I love having a local vegan bakery with (as many have mentioned) excellent customer service and a fabulous array of local and house made vegan food. Also definitely check out their lattes!
An amazing place! The staff here is super nice and friendly. All their pastries and sandwiches are delicious, Breakfast Burrito hits the spot. Everything is vegan. My go to vegan spot when in Philadelphia.
All I can say is wow. From the food selection, to the supreme customer service, Batter & Crumbs has a piece of my heart. You will enjoy the cafe area, the food, and the bakery items without a doubt. Parking may be a bit tough, but I encourage you to see it all the way through and give this place a try. It’s worth it.
