Ribs and brisket sandwich were very good from the food truck! Portions were fair given the price, and the service was fast. Can't wait to have it again!
Food was delicious and the lemonade is a must! I had the chicken but saw the ribs cooking on the grill and knew I needed those also!
Chicken platter with 4legs which were dry,no sauce Tasted like yesterday's. Greens and sweet potatoes were like old foods Disgusting!
Gave the food a try last weekend 4/24 during the food festival. I definitely had high expectations because the food smelled really good; however it was a bit disappointing. My family and I ordered two platters and a ½ slab of ribs. The mac and cheese to me was a bit dry, the collard greens tasted like frozen greens which lacked flavor. The brisket platter I was expecting sliced brisket, but instead we received shredded meat in sauce (somewhat like a pulled pork). I love a good char, but half of my ribs were too burnt and dry. The food was edible, but I don't think I would say they are The Best BBQ spot in Philly.
Run, don’t walk to this place. I got a pulled pork sandwich with fries and beans out of their food truck. Lord Jesus I swear on all things holy this the food Jesus had at the last supper. My GOD if I ever end up on death row, the food from this place is where I want my last meal to be from. Best pulled pork I ever had.
? Love this BBQ. When the truck is near my family always wanting more then they can eat. We drive out of our way to get to the rib platter and fish platter with the homemade sides
My Mom wanted some BBQ so I ordered a Rib platter for her. She ordered the hot Ribs w/ Mac & cheese & greens for the sides. The Ribs were good! The sides were bland and not seasoned but you can add your own seasoning... Overall the food is good & worth it, I'd suggest call ahead to order.
Never Ever Again!They charged me $22.00 for a beef short rib platter. That Only comes with 3 short ribs and 2 small sides! This is totally unacceptable and highway robbery! I had to give them a call to make sure this was correct and the young lady told me it was.
The brisket is more like shredded pulled pork meat and it tasted like goat meat. You can taste the game in the meat! Very expensive too!
Friendly people, excellent BBQ sauces, had the Brisket Platter it was satisfying. The meat was tender; however, I'm used to brisket being prepared differently. Still, my plate was empty in about 15 min. The owner is very gracious, accommodating, and overall a good guy. I would eat here again.
