We arrived for our 6:45 booking on time and waited 30 minutes to be seated because the group ahead of us didn’t wish to relinquish the table. The manager was totally indifferent, basically saying — we won’t ask them to leave and we don’t have a bar where we can offer you a drink - so you can wait on the sidewalk. We have no idea how long they will choose to keep the table. When we were finally seated, I expected the manager to at least offer us a drink or dessert on the house, but nothing was forthcoming. The food was lovely as always but the restaurant was crammed and loud. I always eat here when I am in Philly but don’t think I need to visit or recommend again.

Go. You will love it. My wife and I make it a point to have dinner here every time we are in Philadelphia

Food is excellent with a nicely varied menu; service was great despite how busy the restaurant was a peak dinner hour during Center City Sips. I wasn't too hyped about the noise level, feeling I couldn't always hear our table conversation, but food more than made up for it.

Wonderful food and service! Barbuzzo is on our MUST list for every visit to Philadelphia. The delicious budino pudding is the stuff of dreams - food of the gods! The only drawback to the restaurant is that it is very loud. Some acoustic modification would be appreciated.

Quick (because we wanted to be), smooth, friendly service; simply flavorful food, well prepared and just inventive enough. Italy-meets-Spain vibe. Pizza for the kids, pasta for the parents, good selection of mains and salads, too. Energetic vibe overall — boisterous friend groups and fashionable dates — but server was just as attentive to a family meal.

I was able to get an out door table, which wa s great as it was quite crowded inside. I was surprised that the restaurant no vegan options. Even the pizza dough had eggs in it. In todays day and age, it was quite surprising.

Phenomenal as usual. The beet salad and the sheep’s milk ricotta are out faves!

The food is good but the tables are tight and the acoustics make it extremely loud.

Food was fantastic. Excellent robust flavors, nice grill on the branzino, delicately tossed homemade pasta, and fantastic texture on the giant meatballs. Loved every dish. Sauces were amazing.
