We were attending a concert at the Met and researched this establishment prior to checking it out in person. The facade was very inviting and I loved the decor. Sat at the bar and the atmosphere was lively! The woman sitting next to me had this beautiful specialty cocktail... the punch. Not only beautiful but so delicious! There was a domino effect because everyone down the bar did the same as I!!! We ordered a couple of appetizers... pleasing to the eye & the palette. Great mixologists behind the bar and Jenna took great care of us!!! Would definitely recommend and return!!!

I moved to the city 11 days ago and I’ve been here four times — including twice today (came back for another round of drinks after some late evening apps). The beer is amazing, the food is irresistible and the servers are just fantastic. Everyone is so warm and welcoming and it’s great to have a spot like that in a new neighborhood! Great place and if you go, try the Helles for Sinners. One of the best beers I’ve ever had!

Hamburger ? is very delicious and potatoes,my third time dining in this place, I always order hamburger

Every bite of food was fantastic, and we bit a lot of stuff! Thoughtful delicious cocktails as well!

Had a wonderful experience here. Bar H is a well oiled machine. Excellent atmosphere and service. Outdoor space is very inviting. Nice to go to a local establishment that is thoughtful in their wine presentation. Excellent beer and drink menu. The board option allows you to design the perfect taste for your mood and align food with your beverage choice. The mushroom sandwich is one of the best in the city. I can tell they work hard at being a great restaurant!

So where do I start? Food is beyond awesome. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The owner is genuine. Could not think of a better place to call "My favorite restaurant."

This place just has an absolutely magical feel to it. You walk in and you feel like you're transported to your best friend's house and you're about to experience the best dinner party of your life.I wish I had come here for dinner and drinks instead of just an appetizer and dessert, but those dishes were among the best I've ever had.I had the Manchurian Cauliflower and it was mind blowing. The sauce was flavorful and somehow the cauliflower had a very meaty quality to it. I've always loved cauliflower but this was absolutely next level.I also got the lemon meringue cake and this is where the true magic was. I'm a lemon fanatic and this was the perfect dessert to have. The toasted topping on top was a nice charred and slightly bitter element to counterbalance the sweetness everywhere else. It was a very nice tartness from the lemon that was just perfect. That had to be the best bite I had in Philly in a very long time.I also had their lemon meringue IPA (I told you I was a lemon freak) and that was delicious. I don't even particularly like beer but I was told that was their specialty and I had to try it. It had an almost Arnold Palmer quality to it and it was a great pair with the cauliflower. The acidity from the beer was the perfect counterbalance to the spice and it was just perfect.Overall, I plan on going back here anytime I visit the city, especially if I'm going in with a few friends.

First time at this spot and will definitely be back! Unique and super tasty menu; the boards concept is a great way to try multiple items and still have room for a main. Lemon meringue IPA was excellent ? but the biggest star was the burger ? which we got medium rare and it was perfection.

First time we went there the food was good but the drinks were terrible. The drinks did not have any alcohol in them and tasted like soda. We tried two different drinks and it was the same for both. The second time, the food was bad. The mac and cheese bites were some huge cubes of unseasoned mac and cheese and they tasted stale and the fries were sitting in a cheese soup. The chicken bits were not cut well, they were too large and the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way through. It was gummy and slimy. I advise you to take your money somewhere else. The only saving grace of this place is the comfy seating…. But then again, the lights are a little too bright. Save your money and time and order from the local Chinese takeout.

Overall, this place has a great vibe. Came mid afternoon on a chilly Saturday and the restaurant was about half full. The Manchurian Cauliflower is really good! Definitely not at all healthy, but definitely delicious. The lemon meringue IPA was refreshing. The stout tastes almost like Guinness. Also had French fries which were okay. The server was attentive and friendly.
