Such a cute concept, merging Taiwanese BAOS + street food & modern ingredients & western flavorsWhether it's the short rib, crispy buffalo chicken, Asian sticky teriyaki chicken or the beef noodle bowl, I felt the taste was bombWe ordered the flight of 3 for $15 . And there's more appetizers we didn't order too!
I got the bao bun of the day and added 2 others. I was very happy. definitely will come back again.
We spent three days on Philly, and this was my favorite meal. The brussel Sprouts are unreal, and each bao so distinct. Amazing service too!
I always enjoy the food from Bao Nine! They have great baos, cool flavors, and the buns are very soft. Whenever I don't want to cook dinner, I order takeout from them.
They were absolutely DELICIOUS and well worth the drive!!!! ?❤️✅? Super pretty and friendly counter girl that greet us immediately when we entered, the buns were fresh made, the texture was foreign yet super satisfying, the flavors were so individual and robust, and we all agreed to go back and try more flavors!! 20/10 recommend!! I asked my kids to try 2, instead they chose 1 and ended up nibbling mine though. ? ?
Excellent service, trendy atmosphere, tasty food but a bit too highly priced for the portion size (at least for poor college students). The shrimp tempura bao was AMAZING. We came in with a big group but service was really fast, big shout-out to the service team that day.
I kept seeing advertisements for them for over a year on Facebook and FINALLY decided a random spur of the moment trip (32+minutes) into the city and they did not disappoint! Super bright, clean, inviting building with cute outdoor wooden seating for the bold winter lovers lol. The counter girl was beautiful, very pleasant, and super accommodating to my picky eaters by removing certain toppings for my kids. Everything was beautifully packaged, fresh, and oh so satisfying! ❤️✅ The buns were light and pillowy and don't overtake the ingredients in them and omg I can go on and on! We will be back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?
Great food at a great price.
Worth a try if you are in the mood for bao. I liked the menu options, has something for everyone! A little pricey for a fast-casual spot and it did take awhile to get our food even though we were the only ones in there! Still enjoyed it, would visit again.
The place is cute and the service is amazing; however, the baos are just ok. They are pretty much the only one in town, so I had to check them out after having the best bao in NYC. Unfortunately, the ones I tried here weren't good at all. The meat was dry and lacked flavour. One bao tasted just like a cheeseburger(was the best among the 3 I got); yet you expect an authentic taste.
