Its really great tasting icecream. Soft and creamy. The staff was also very friendly.
Visited on their busiest day (Flavors on the Avenue festival) and were impressed with their fast, friendly service and scrumptious ice cream. Their price is reasonable: it includes a generous scoop in a cone or cup, a choice of mix-ins and a choice of syrup drizzled on top. Arctic Scoop offers standard plus exotic Asian-inspired flavors like taro and sesame butter. Their almond butter flavor is my new favorite! There is some outside streetery seating, and it's dog-friendly.
Now that's what I call a dessert.Highly recommend the egg/bubble waffle — it's enough for my husband and I to split and comes with unlimited toppings!!Tonight's creation: pandan ice cream with green tea flavored bubble waffle cone, ALL the fruit toppings, condensed milk, pretzel, and popping boba. Hell yes.I was far more conservative with flavor combinations on my last trip here. I'm almost ashamed to admit... I ordered vanilla ice cream on a regular cone. Don't get me wrong, it was also delicious. Just in a very safe, slightly boring, way. Now that I feel confident enough in the flavors this shop comes up with to continue getting weird here, I'm never looking back.Prepare to wait a few minutes, because the staff will carefully craft your treat to look as beautiful as it tastes. Prepare to pay about $10 with tax and tip. Generally, I'm a bit cheap and a bit impatient, but I'm happy to wait & pay for quality, and this is it.
I came to Arctic Scoop because a friend recommended me to check it out, since it was a beautiful day out I decided to hop on my bicycle for a ride and a ice cream treat On my way back home. I was super excited to try the Taro ice cream but unfortunately that flavor wasn’t available, was a little bum out about it but still order a different flavor with a cone and it was very good. The price was also very reasonable the staff was very friendly and the service was fast, definitely recommend checking them out I know I’ll be back. ??
Cute little ice cream shop. Nothing super special, but they do have a few interesting flavors. I would have preferred more toppings on my ice cream though. I’d say it’s a bit overpriced but still good.
Amazing (: I prolonged my trip in Philly so I could stay and try this place when they opened at 3pm. The staff was super friendly, the ice cream was yummy and and the waffle was fresh! Omgsh please go
Cool place in south philly with good ice cream and pleasant service. If you get the egg waffle it comes with unlimited toppings of your choice and the really try hard get a little bit of everything on there in such an artful manner! Will be returning!
Arctic scoop is my favorite ice cream shop in Philly. The Taro is fantastic and not too sweet. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy candy shop when you walk in and the owners are welcoming. Don’t miss it!
Came here with a good friend of mine that recommended this place for good ice cream and boy was he right. These ice creams were not only delicious but wow, each one were an art piece!! Very pleasing and enjoyable. My family and friends give this place more than 5 stars.
Really excellent ice cream! I had one scoop vanilla bean and one scoop taro - both were so rich and delicious. They have a long list of toppings that were great such as shaved coconut and graham cracker crumbs and toppings like condensed milk. The staff is also super friendly and helpful.
