This place is an absolute gem. I come her all of the time and often bring friends to try it. Everything that I’ve had here is incredible. The injera wraps are such a good deal and the vegetable sides on the platters are unbelievably delicious. The staff is always friendly and quick. The food is prepared fresh every day, so it’s ready made when you buy it and I consistently pick up their end of the day leftovers with the Too Good To Go food app. The coffee is great and the iced coffee is best enjoyed in their AC on a hot summer day. If I come to work, there’s plentiful indoor and outdoor seating. As if they can do no wrong, there’s also a well curated mini market inside where I’ve bought an emergency phone charger, divine fresh prepared hummus, chocolate bars, amongst other things. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Clean and cute spot. Staff kind and sweet (I felt well taken care of). Free guest wifi (neatly and clearly displayed). I got a veggie lentil injera wrap (made fresh to go) and 2 Sambusas (one chicken and one lentil; pro tip they run out so order early rather than late). I only have pictures of the wrap because I accidentally consumed the sambusas in .002 seconds. My only regret is I didn't order 4/$5.Don't sleep on their Mini Mart selection. Lots of great items and honey, they have honey! Winnie the Pooh would be more than satisfied.
super yummy and fast experience! Great price for great food! perfect portion size
Delicious breakfast—got the injera wrap for $7 and the Alif special coffee for the $3.25—add a little sugar to the coffe and it’s amazing it comes to life. It’s gingery. The injera wrap was the perfect breakfast food it was filling and hearty without being heavy. Would recommend. Very friendly service as well
Delicious food. Quick. Tasty. Great selection of items. Great bottled lassis (homemade, no label). Definitely recommend. Relatively Cheap.
delicious and quick, very sweet owners! ordered the breakfast special - sweet potato purée, boiled egg, halloumi, in a wrap. it was incredible. can’t wait to go back & for spring so i can enjoy the lovely outdoor seating.
I haven't eaten here, but while I was in Philly I would drink their Ginger Coffee and add cream and sugar. So gooood.
Very good customer service. I came from north philly to west because I woke up and said I want some Injera, I asked for a lunch platter for breakfast and they were nice enough to make it.
One such place where you eat delicious food with love equally on the table. Thank you Hayat for venturing into the first beautiful Ethiopian cafe in Philly. You are wonderful!
I love it here, the vibe, the smiles and the creative, excellent tasting food!
