Best meal I’ve had in many years. Literally everything was amazing.
There's a comedian named Sebastián Maniscalco who said, "the Jews have no cuisine" (jokingly of course) but he's probably never been here. It's been on my want to go list for some time, and now it's on my want to go again list. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the drinks, everything was amazing. I highly recommend it, and it will be a place I take people to if I'm showing off.
Please!!!!TRY THE SHORT RIB. SO DELICIOUS!!!!!! So fresh and well made, perfect with their sauce, vege and bread. The drinks are non-alcohol, it’s “secret item”, not on menu, the red one is “Don’t call me Shirley”, recommend!!!! The blue one tastes good, but can’t remember the name, it’s butterfly something. The custard(dessert) is absolutely my favorite. Service is the best! Environment is the best!! Please give it a try!
super uber nice and proportions are so big unlike other pretentious fine dining restaurants. superb down to earth service. you have to come here!!
prepare to leave extremely full, this is a meal you’ll talk about for days after. everything is amazing and they take pride in their food and cocktails. very friendly service also.
I advised Abe Fisher's that this was a birthday dinner. They did multiple things for this celebration -- a specialized menu, an extra dish [because my son couldn't decide between 2 choices, so they added the one not chosen on them], two extra drink tastings, and a birthday candle on his dessert. Now, to the food. For the table, they provided challah parker house rolls, along with multiple fixings. I had the prix fixed montreal short rib, we shared appetizers of potato latkas, the extra beet cured salmon, and chicken liver mouse, and my son had the romanian skirt steak entree. For desserts we had buckwheat custard and pots de cream. While pricy, my montreal meat was extremely tender and very tasty. The rolls and their toppings were wonderful, including boursin, pickled beets, eggplant, cucumbers and one other thing. The appetizers: a very different take on potatoes latka's, but delicious. They looked like "french-toast" sticks, but were crispy outside and soft potato inside, with an applesauce on the side. The beet cured salmon was amazing. My son liked the chicken liver mouse, but I wouldn't say this was the star of the night. He really liked his romanian skirt steak. I found the pots de cream a bit heavy; he liked his buckwheat custard, but by then, we were pretty full. A special night, and a place to return to.
We had a fabulous dinner al fresco last night. service was impeccable, Amir is fantastic. Cannot say enough about the food. There were 4 of us, so were ordered as many of the dishes as possible and shared everything. My goodness every dish was luscious! Every dish was busting with flavors and texture. They were so very attentive to my lactose intolerance. Cannot wait to return. Be sure to plan your visit, and book ahead.
Went out here while traveling for work. Morgan was incredible. I usually just let the server take the reins and order for me because I eat everything and every single thing he brought out was delicious. After I reached my daily max for my work budget he also brought an extra glass of wine to have with my meal. Compliments to both the chef and the service. The latke fries are both the best fries and the best hash browns I’ve ever had (not to mention amazing cocktails). Seriously good.
They have a fixed menu so with four people, we decided to order things we didn't want and try everything else they have to offer.The food is saltier than what we would like but I'm gonna guess it's to compliment the drinks. We didn't have drinks and we drank lots of water.The service and covid protocol was the best we have ever seen. They sanitize every serving, and they changed the plates so frequently.
My wife and I stopped in for dinner just prior to Christmas: the fixed price menu is one of the best values in the city! The menu selections and portions were excellent, as well a the cocktails. The service was very attentive, without being intrusive.We can't wait to stop back again!
